We made reservations for dinner on Valentine's Day, and this time our experience was a bit disappointing. First off, we had to stand awkwardly around the hostess area with about 6-8 other couples while waiting for our table. The hostess did mention that there was a bench in the back of the restaurant next to the restroom where diners could... More

Chianti is better than most Italian restaurants in Denver. Definitely the best in their price range. The food was really good and the wait staff is very experienced and know the menu very well. There salads were great but I was very impressed with their saltimbocca, it was very tasty, seasoned perfectly especially considering that most restaurants make too salty... More

This is a small Italian food restaurant in a strip center. The tables are packed fairly tight, but the atmosphere works. It's similar to what you expect to find in Manhattan. The service is great. The food is good. The prices are a bit expensive. Come by yourself, on a date, or with business. Leave the kids at home. The... More

Wow! We were taken to this amazing restaurant by a business friend of my husbands, what a wonderful treat! The service was excellent, the food totally amazing & the ambiance very sweet and wonderful :) We opted for a chefs table type meal, several delicious courses so we could taste a lot of different dishes, yum!!! I probably would not... More

Generally a good meal and I did not think the prices too high but it is not a cheap eats. Our service was very good. I had the veal and it was, um, about four dots. Good but a little heavy, the side alfredo was also a little heavy. It was a crowded Saturday night and maybe they were in... More

In the past I've made references to the need on my part to visit TripAdvisor in advance of my restaurant selection when looking for something while traveling. Well I did but unfortunately for me and 4 others, we must have chosen to have dinner the night the Chef was not working. Others who have eaten here and post their reviews... More

We had gone to the sister restaurant Venice and had a great experience. Unfortunately, chianti was a bit of a letdown. The waiter was very good but the food was disappointing. The salad was excellent. The pasta was average. The dessert was not good. We ordered the gelato and it was full of ice crystals--guess it had be refrozen a... More

I have been to Chianti' s several times when in the Denver area and will go back. The food is good, the service is also and other than being a little cramped it is a great place. Reservations are a must, even during the week. I suggest a week night before 6:30pm.

I usually order the harvest squash ravioli, a dish I love. This visit I ordered the Ciappino. I thought the mussels were a bit "off" and the tomato-based sauce was too much like Campbell's Tomato soup, very uninspiring. With tax and tip, but no drinks or desert, we (a couple) paid $110.00. Though I mentioned the mussels to the waiter... More

The food at Chianti is delicious and artistically prepared. I have never ordered anything that I did not completely enjoy. Wine offerings are quite good and varied. The fresh baked bread is crusty, hot, and impossible to resist. Waitstaff is friendly, attentive and very professional. There is nothing not to recommend here!
