A group of us were in a private room for a celebratory dinner. Our host knows the owner, and several members of his family work there. We were well taken care of, as a consequence. The menu was a pre-selection with a handful of choices; I opted for the jäger schnitzel mit spätzle, which was good. The others at my... More

Dined at the Chinook Tavern to celebrate a friend's birthday. We loved sharing the raclette and fondue. Be sure to request seating in the Zermatt room if planning to have fondue or raclette.

Enjoyed a nice meal here prior to a concert a couple weeks ago. Service was bit slow due to restaurant being busy but we enjoyed the food and atmosphere nonetheless. Recommend that they offer bread prior to meal, given the high prices on the menu. Also, would like to see more of the European dishes they advertise. The menu given... More

Very nice restaurant with German food specialties. Large group with many different dishes served and all looked very good - nice portions and presentation. Braised beef was excellent. Heartily recommend you try this restaurant at least once.

A highly touted Denver restaurant named Chinook....would we feast on king salmon or be reminded of the ice-eating winds that warm the Pacific Northwest? Should we expect a Native American theme? No and, actually, Nein! It's schnitzels and steak, pea-encrusted wasabi halibut, lamb shanks and carrot soup on a menu that delighted our large table in a quiet private room.... More

I always go to this place when I drop by to see my 401K, IRA-Sep, IRA-Roth advisor. It has great food, decent service and relatively quick service. It's VERY BUSY for lunch hour and immediately after work because ALL the local offices in the tower empty out so be prepared for a crowd at those times. The wine list is... More

Had super lousy service on a Friday night. The place was empty 4 other tables. Just a really rude waitress. Plus a very well done $44 rib eye steak.ordered med rare. The cost wasn't a big deal but the food took almost an hour to come out and then below expectations. I like this place and have had better experiences... More

What an interesting place. The food was really wonderful and they had a vast array of beers for your choosing. I found that the service was also very good and they were able to give a bit more guidance on popular items and what to get. We tried many dishes and they were all good, from seafood to sausage to... Dined on Sat Feb 13; our first time. We normally don't dine out on Valentine's weekend because it's no secret service at any restaurant can be too rushed on holidays. We were surprised on arrival the restaurant was barely 25% full. Seated immediately and HAD a great waiter. Two of us were seated at a 6 top and before we... More
