Shrimp tacos were excellent, but this is the place if you want a Margarita. They have a sign with a 3 drink limit which is appropriate as the Margarita was strong and large. Fun visit

Every Rio Grande I have been to has excellent food, drinks, and service. We were here for lunch and for $8.50, got half a quesadilla and a salad. Both the quesadilla and salad were decent sized and a good value for lunch! For dinner, I like the pork burrito with spicy green chili, the steak burrito, or the quest del... More

Brandon, Thank you for visiting us here in Greeley. Did the Greeley Stampede bring you in? We sure do appreciate you being such a loyal fan. Try us on a Friday night during the summer. You can enjoy a free concert out on the plaza and the best part is we can serve you out there as well. Look up... More

Great ingredients are the hallmark of the Rio's fare. We take our out-of-town guests there, because we KNOW they will not be disappointed. Despite the claim of Tex-Mex influences, an Arizona-raised midwesterner called home (from our table) to express his delight with the food . . . claiming ihe had found an authentic Sonoran restaurant! A great place for those... More

Thank you so much for the 30 years of patronage. I certainly hope you were able to attend our anniversary party. It was wonderful, crazy and zany to say the least. Part of our values will always be "wholesome food" and "the best dang margaritas this side of the Rio Grande". have you tried the new Tripple? It is new... More

First time to a "Rio", we'll be back! The food was wonderful, plentiful, well presented! Chili Rellenos, come either battered or baked without batter & both were excellent! Salsa was wonderful & braised pork burrito was great too! Kelsey was a wonderful, cheerful server. Always a smile on her face, even as she walked out the door, when no one... More

Thank you so much for the sweet review. Kelsey is a wonderful team member. I will be sure to pass your comments along. FYI we have two brand new fountains being installed today on the patio. Should make the patio an even better place to enjoy a margarita. Hope to see you soon. More

Wonderful margaritas (limit 3 and good luck with that many!) and good Mexican food. Part of a chain of 4 that started in Fort Collins. Is busy and well recommended!

Artgecko1, Thanks for the friendly review. Did you know that this year on June 18th we will be celebrating our 30 year Anniversary. We will be doing this at the Fort Collins location. The Party starts at 4 pm with a stage right on Mountain Ave. "Buddy Guy" is the headliner. A true legend with Blues. There will be lots... More

This place is huge. They have a ton of outdoor seating and indoor seating both in the dining room and bar. We arrived at the end of happy hour and were able to get in on the drink and appetizer specials. The margarita was good and the chicken flautas were also a good start to the meal. Service was a... Shannon, I am glad you you visited us recently. It sounds like the food and the margaritas were wholesome and hearty. They should be we are a totally from scratch kitchen. From the flour & corn tortillas to the Gluten free Vegetarian Green Chili. And we also can accommodate large party's of close to 100, very easily. It is unfortunate... More

You definitely get both barrels with the margaritas. Nice variety of mexican food. We love the fish tacos with bright veggies. Nice venue in downtown Greeley.

Larry, thank you for the very nice review. The Mahi Mahi Tacos are one of my favorites as well. Did you know every Friday night, until the end of September, we offer live music and drinks out on the street/plaza in front of the Rio? It's a great time and our patio just can't be beat. Hope to see you... More

Went to visit my grandson in Greeley and he suggested we visit this restaurant for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised as Greeley is primarily a college town. The restaurant is on a corner in downtown, is larger than it appears and the service was quick, despite the fact that it was very busy. The waitress was very friendly, took our... More

Food, service, and Margaritas were very average...Price is very high for Mexican food and what I got was edible, but no value. Will not go back. I had a "steak quesadilla". It was basically a fried tortilla with a little guacamole and sour cream. There was almost no cheese and I found only a couple of tiny slivers of "beef"... More
