Every year we've had breakfast at this establishment on our family vacation but, no more. Our latest experience was poor on all points. The staff was incredibly rude, our food order wrong and the corrected food order was cold and dry. The only thing that...was okay was my coffee, however, my wife's coffee was bitter and old. When we complained, the rude little girl that took our order had the audacity to say... "We're not here to please everyone." Really? The main reason we were patrons of this establishment was basically the lack of choices in Grand Lake, it certainly wasn't for their over priced subpar food. From now on we will take our business elsewhere on our future trips to Grand Lake. Fortunately, the Sagebrush BBQ & Grill where we faithfully dine every year is now serving breakfast that far exceeds Blue Water Bakery.More

The employees were very friendly. Service was fast even with a long line. I only ordered hot chocolate but the pastries looked very good too!

The staff was helpful and the food was good. Nothing special, but quick and easy. I would return again for a quick bite.

Excellent Allegro coffee (reasonable, plus a free refill). Great bakery items to choose from, and breakfast and lunch offerings. We had a eggs benedict and scramble special of the day for breakfast; both very good. Have not tried the sandwiches, but they sounded good.

Enjoyed a couple breakfasts and lunches here - very good breakfast sandwiches and tomato soup. Pastries were good, but not quite as good as they looked. Hours can be a little tricky - the sign on the restaurant says they're open 7 to 2 even...though the website says 6-3. The former is mostly correct - we hurried back from a hike one day, getting there at 1:55, but they'd already closed up.More

My wife got the egg special which she said was fine. I ordered the cinnamon French toast with sausage. Obviously it was for take-out. When we got to the pavilion across and down the main street to eat, there was no sausage in the order....The bread for the French toast had to have been a week old. It was touch and dry. I am not a fussy eater, but this was beyond eating. I threw it away. Next day ate at the Huntington House Tavern which was excellent with a great outside seating area., No Blue Water for me again! Plus, the wait was ridiculous!More

Delicious bakery and breakfast items. Sandwiches too. Excellent COVID precautions taken. Don't be fooled by the long lines, this place is delicious and quickly get thru the lines. Food is fresh, served at appropriate temperatures. Breakfast Bagels are the best!!So many choices too. I tried...a cream cheese and raspberry filled croissant, warmed...OMG Heavenly!! We love this bakery in Grand Lake. Definitely a GEM!! Great service, friendly staff every single time!!More

Good food but a bit pricey. No seating area but there were picnic tables down by the lake. A wide variety of eggs scones pastries.

Fresh and tasty food although the wait was longer than anticipated. Some of the blame must go to customer's who are waiting with the menu in front of them yet when it's their turn to order they look and hesitate and act like this is...the first time they've seen it!More

Decent food but overpriced, excellent pastries. Bit of an attitude, par for the course in Grand Lake.
