When the waitress proudly proclaims that its her choice and she's not getting vaccinated against COVID, one has to wonder what she's thinking. One with her decision, second with broadcasting in your work environment... FOOD SERVICE! I want to believe that other members of society...want to protect themselves, their friends and family and STRANGERS AND CUSTOMERS from catching COVID, but particularly in food service to protect their livelihood and that of their employer and the "customers." I won't return, as I want to believe that I am safe in the environments I choose to go to.More

We ate breakfast here two days in a row as the diner was right next door to our motel. How convenient, we thought. Service was slow the first morning, but we figured it was a one off, and decided to give the diner a second...chance the very next day. The restaurant was near empty and our order was taken quickly by the same waitress, who apologized for the slow service the previous day as if it had been unusual. Evidently it wasn't...we waited 45 minutes for our very average food. I was up and ready to walk out the door just as it finally arrived at our table. The waitress was full of apologies, but come on - eggs and pancakes don't take that long to prepare. By the time we left, the place was busy....entirely too many people were allowed into the restaurant and the waiting area was full. Despite notices plastered all over the restaurant regarding the need to wear masks and social distance, several people entered without masks and employees made no attempt to enforce the mask mandate or to space tables six feet apart, as required by state law.More

THE place to eat for breakfast, I've had several different things on the menu but my favorite is the omelets, esp. Denver omelets! It's not easy to catch Randy in person as he has two other places in the Grand Junction area. Great guy!

This location is a great old school diner with all the basics and then some. The food was decent breakfast and the green chili was very tasty.

The food was good but the negative attitude from the waitress wiped out the flavor. When asking for a coffee mug that wouldn't cut my lip, the waitress blamed the owner for keeping bad coffee cups.

We heard that they had good food here, and so it was. My wife and I split a couple of orders of stuffed French toast. Both peach and strawberry. All excellent. Good coffee too.

Great venue for a healthy, quality breakfast. Waitresses are friendly, helpful, and on top of things daily! Everything on the menu is good and the chefs keep it coming out fresh and hot.

Nice atmosphere, cozy, and an excellent menu selection, all food is fresh and well prepared. Had a hard time selecting something, settled for their Bacon, chicken barbecue sandwich, it was excellent

Was looking for a place to grab breakfast before heading out of town when I spied a legit looking diner. What luck! I was treated to excellent friendly service and maybe the best pancakes of my life. Ordered a short stack which easily could have...fed two hungry people. The pancakes were covered with chunks of apples and walnuts topped by warm caramel sauce, not too sweet. Oh yum. My only mild complaint is I found the coffee too watery. I prefer a darker richer roast.More
