I ordered the burrito. It was really an overcooked hamburger chopped up and rolled inside a tortilla. That was actually pleasant compared to the drunks in the restaurant. They were cussing loudly, describing their experiences with strippers, and generally unruly. The staff did nothing. The people in my area were making comments about them as well. It really turned my... More

Restaurant was 5 stars, the bar; not so much. Service in there was very slow the day we were there (and they weren't that busy). One employee; and she had to talk a lot with the locals.

Spent the night in Grand Junction and stopped here for a bit of breakfast before heading on to Utah. Service was very good as was our food. Home style diner quality food but tasty and it hit the spot and gave us lots of energy for the l ong drive ahead.

The restaurant and lounge are connected to the West Gate Inn. The lounge was comfy and friendly with good service. Many people staying at the Inn were there along with some locals. It was fun chatting with everyone while enjoying some refreshment after a long day on the road. There were several flat screen TV's so if you wanted you... More

We were so happy to find Otto's, a non-chain restaurant, just off I-70, quick on and off - or so we thought. We were greeted, welcomed, shown to our table and looked at a delightful menu, lots of 1950's nostalgic offerings. I ordered the french dip sandwich. As we waited, we could hear the server apologizing, again and again, for... More

Hooray, a lunch stop at a non-chain restaurant on the interstate. Menu looked fine, server was friendly, took our order and we congratulated ourselves on finding a 'real' local cafe that had a pretty good menu for lunch. Then we waited 45 minutes after ordering the food to arrived. I wanted to leave but we had already invested time so,... More

We were 4 very tired travelers when we stopped at Otto's Restaurant & Lounge. As we first walked in we were greeted with enthusiastic hellos from both employees that met us at the entrance and we were immediately taken to a table. We were very unsure of what we wanted to eat or drink but our wait person was extremely... More

I first went to Otto's in 1980 while returning from a hunting trip and return every once in a while. While not a "greasy spoon", it's a dated old diner with mediocre food and service. However, it's a good stopping off place near the freeway.
