Nice restaurant on Orchard Mesa. Great friendly service. My husband and I had the $7.00 lunch special, he had enchiladas and I had a pork tamale smothered in green chili that had chunks of pork and potatoes, loved it!

I normally get the food to-go, it takes about 7-15 mins, to pick up. Its taste great, good price, I love going there. Nice folks, I eat there about 10 times a month.

Dined at lunch with family party of 5 - we all ordered different dishes: enchiladas, rolled tacos, chimichanga, tostada, tamale, etc with rice and beans. The special requests were honored, and the service was good. Everything tasted fine - nothing special, but it was authentic Mexican flavors. The restaurant used to be pretty fancy when they were in town, but... More

I never went to Conchita's before it returned at its current location, but was there twice recently. The restaurant is Mexican casual with its expected décor. I found to food to be very tasty and plentiful. I had both the Enchilada Platter with enchilada sauce and the #3 combo. Both were served with rice and refried beans. Both dishes were... More

Since our last review things have deteriorated considerably. Food quality has diminished, staff has fluctuated greatly, and food portions have shrunk--the pork tamale has been truncated to half its former size with no corresponding decrease in price. We used to visit weekly, but we have cut back.

We've been eating at Conchitas for 13 years. All the dishes are well made, with something for everyone. It has a very warm and inviting staff and atmosphere. Great place for lunch, date night or a family night out. Wait till you taste the salsa, sooo good! You gotta give it a try.

We had excellent Chile Relleno's, but the Crab Enchiladas (the day's special) were mediocre. We know they can do better -- after all, conchita's was the original 'good' mexican restaurant in Orchard Mesa (they went across town for a few years). we will return, of course, expecting that the food will be above average (as it was in the past).... My wife and I eat here 3-4 times per month, not including the times she goes to lunch without me!!! They have a very friendly staff that goes out of their way to make sure we have everything that we need! This restaurant has the best carnita tacos in Grand Junction by far!!! This is what my wife and I... More

From an early age, founder Dan Zambrano always promised his mother that he would someday put her name in lights. That day came in November of 1996 when Dan opened up Conchitas, named after his mother Concepcion which translates to "Little Concha". From that day on it has been a labor of love for Dan and his family. Prior to the restaurant opening, Dan and his mother spent years perfecting the family recipes that are still used in our kitchen today. After almost 20 years in the restaurant business, many of our customers have become extended family. We take those relationships very seriously and consider that loyalty our greatest asset. For those that haven't been in to see us in a while, we would humbly ask for you to come see us again. We are excited to be beginning a new chapter in our family-run business as we transition to "Next Generation Ownership". We hope you will come back and see us again - explore our new menu and discover our new weekend brunch and scratch-made cocktails. Thank you for your continued loyalty and support.
