The Winery has been in operation for decades and I have never had a bad experience food-, drink- or service-wise. The menu is not extensive, so if you are expecting a huge selection you'll be disappointed. However, what is for selection, is always just right. The floor is clean even after numerous waves of diners. The restroom is clean. Too... More

This gem of a restaurant nestled in the heart of Grand Junction is a must. The food was divine, the ambience awesome.

The European exterior invited curiosity and so we ventured inside, to old world ambiance, attentive service and a classic menu with innovative flare. Some of the crockery on the table were handmade by a local potter and that was a nice touch. My companion's dinner was a steak and they couldn't get that wrong. My appetite was for something smaller... More

This is a perfect restaurant for celebrations, but, as expected, rather on the expensive side. The food is excellent, however, so an experience worth "splurging" on occasionally.

While visiting the Grand Junction area for the annual Lavender Festival, we decided to revisit this long standing upper scale restuarant in downtown. Located in an alcove off main street , this restuarant has a quiet atmosphere, with wonderful woods and beautiful stained glass windows. But the food is the real star of this restuarant. Try the shrimp cocktail, with... More

I've said it before in these reviews -- food isn't the only factor when considering a restaurant. Especially for fine dining, you have to take atmosphere into account. Some restaurants specialize in atmosphere over food, but The Winery seems to have captured both. Loved the little touches -- the personalized pottery, plates, the little nooks to dine in. You can... Dinner and service were excellent. 6oz filet and Winery (mashed) potatoes were very enjoyable. Bacon vinaigrette dressing on the house salad was also very enjoyable. I ordered the filet medium; it may have been a tad more medium rare than medium but was still very enjoyable in my opinion.

Very good food, nice atmosphere. Upscale, outdoor seating. It was too hot to sit outside, record breaking heat while I was there, would have loved to have taken advantage of the patio. Our server was terrific, very friendly & on top of things.

This amazing little place took us by surprise with its menu, service, and setting. Absolutely beautiful!! Usually my wife and I like trying a new place every night but we made it a point to come here every evening we were in town. Our server (I forget her name) was sweet and non-intrusive. Everything was Perfect !!!!!! We will be... More

The Winery is one of the primere restaurants in the Grand Valley. The service and cuisine is excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed, quiet and inviting.
