Ordered take out. It was ready right on time

Accurate order and good food that was still hot when I got it home. Hot & Sour soup was really good, as was the szechuan shrimp and broccoli. This was my second time ordering ( a year apart) when I was visiting Colorado. Will be happy to use them again in the future.

Good food, quick service

We stopped here for dinner. We arrived about 45 min before the closing time. The service was quick and food was good too. The portion is enough. They have chinese & thai food. They also have beautifully decorated the restaurant.

The people working were very attentive to our needs. I also noted the staff may have been short staffed like many businesses I visit. The food was very good.

Very good traditional Chinese dishes for those that want to try something new

Was recommended this restaurant by the front desk of my hotel and looking at the menu had me really excited since Sang Garden serves traditional Chinese food which I prefer so much more over Americanized Chinese food. I ordered the Chili Boiled Beef (a sichuan specialty), hot and sour soup, and a couple egg rolls for delivery. The order arrived incredibly quickly, about 30 minutes after I called, and the delivery driver was very friendly. The Chili Boiled Beef was good, however I'm used to the dish being spicer than what I had today and it was also missing the fragrant note from the sichuan peppercorns that are traditionally present in the dish as well. But that can be expected as I'm sure sichuan peppercorns are not easy to come by in Grand Junction. The flavor however was still very good and the portion size was massive! The hot and sour soup was tasty and the egg rolls were standard egg rolls. Overall I'm satisfied with my experience and would order from here again, but next time I will see if they can turn up the spice level and get it to that sichuan fieryness I have experienced at other restaurants and hotpot joints in my travels. They do have Pepsi chicken which is a spin on the popular Asian dish cola chicken I may try it next time. Overall, the food quality was great and the delivery was very very fast. And for the amount of food you get, it's a great value for the money!

Delicious Pho, Thai and Chinese Food Option

My husband is a pho connoisseur and he thought this place was very good. I had orange chicken with soup, eggroll and crab rangoon and it was so filling I could only eat half of my entree. The place was neat and clean and the service was great - they were friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly too. It was $49.22 with tip for the two of us, a little pricey but when I consider how much food we received it was about perfect. If you like Thai and Chinese this is your place!

Don't bother.

We generally don't complain but this was really disappointing. Mediocre at best. Hot and sour soup was nice and spicy but not many ingredients in the broth. Egg rolls were terrible. Too much breading with very small amounts of veggies inside and everything pretty soggy. Sesame chicken was the worst - breading very thick with small bits of chicken inside. Inedible. Chicken chow mien was nice, crispy veggies and decent pieces of chicken. Won't go back however. Only could eat 1/2 of the food that we paid for.

Delicious convenient food

I had dinner one late night from Sang Garden during my September vacation stay in Grand Junction. Their menu has a huge variety of Chinese and Thai dishes. My order was ready in time for pick up, and the place looked impressively decorated for indoor dining, maybe in the future. My Fried rice with Tofu dinner was more than sufficient and was delicious. Highly recommended.

Great Take Out - Really lovely staff and delicious food! Can't ask for more!

I got take out and it was delicious! They threw in a few extra's which was amazing. The Moo Shu Pork was really good. I had it with egg fried rice and spring rolls. I have found it really hard to find good Chinese food in the US (I am from the UK) and I will be ordering everytime I visit Grand Junction!

BYE TO SANG GARDEN: won't ever go back there. a rip

The first couple times, we liked the place. We eat lunch and dinner there; but never again. The quality control is virtually nil. We paid 49 bucks last Monday, and there were zero drinks, just had water. Talk about saving their money while making money: my husband's Mongolian Beef was 1/2 fried onions. My sweet and sour shrimp was not crisp, as in the past; more soggy, and few shrimp. I also included in my dinner the mushroom beef dinner and had four tiny mushrooms. They fried lots of carrots in my meal though! Two dinners like THAT for 49 bucks. No thanks.

Not the place I remember

This place gone down hill, so disappointed in our meals today I could not finish mine. The food was cold and mushy, lacking flavor and not fresh at all, like we were served left overs.

Great delivery service

We get delivery from this restaurant. Their website ordering system is first class and the order gets to us very close to the scheduled time. Their delivery people are super friendly. Most importantly, the Chinese food and sushi are fantastic.

A mixed bag of some good food average service and terrible won ton soup!

We were passing through, and being Grand Junction, didn't really expect superb Chinese food. The place is pretty large and seems very popular with locals. Ended up with the lunch specials that you could select soup & rice/fried rice. The won ton soup is terrible. Never seen this thick of won ton wrapper. Costco version of won ton would have been amazing compared to this. The hot and sour soup lacked any kind of ingredients, little bit of egg drop and mushroom. We were fearful that the main entrees would be awful too, but turned out alright! The moo shu pork was absolutely delicious. The green Thai curry was fairly decent. Service - never knew who was our server. Very random, perhaps they exercise the "team" approach. One person was obviously lost, but she was very friendly.
