Oh my gosh, I'll try to be brief. One of the worst experiences at a 'high end' restaurant I've had. Took 20 minutes to get bottle of wine. Had to ask twice for bread. Food was slow to be delivered, then two of the four entrees were cold &/or dry. Nothing like $41 for Chilean Sea Bass to be old/overcooked/dry/lukewarm!... More

One of the best salad bars in the area. Happy hour options are also very good. My husband and I like to meet here for drinks and dinner midweek as it is between Evergreen and Denver.

I am a regular at the chart house and a Landry's Club member. Before going I checked the website to see if they were having happy hour on dad's day, and it appeared happy hour was on. I took my party of 5 at about 4:45 only to be told only the regular menu was offered. Okay, I said, we... More

I have been coming to this restaurant with my family for years on special occasions. Recently we chose to celebrate Father's Day there and it became clear, as the evening went on, that this Chart House location is no longer worth the money it costs to eat there. Lots of small mistakes, both in the kitchen and in the front... More

We have enjoyed other restaurants in the Landry's chain and have eaten at this Chart House several times in the past when celebrating special occasions. However, on our recent meal to celebrate Father's Day, things seem to have seriously gone downhill both in the kitchen and the front of the house. There is no single fatal flaw that stands out,... This was the fourth time visiting this restaurant. In the past we have nothing but outstanding food. I was always disappointed to read the others didn't feel the same. HOWEVER, after this last visit I can see why. NOTHING was as it should be for this supposed upscale restaurant. The crab in the stuffed mushrooms was way below par. The... More

The Chart House is a sizeable seafood upscale chain restaurant situated above the south side of I-70, about a mile-and-a-half west of the bison herd overlook. There is a pleasant outdoor patio, where Happy Hour begins at 4 pm (it was totally filled before 5 pm, when we arrived), but sounds of freeway traffic are distracting. Inside is a bar... More

We started our anniversary with happy hour at the Chart House in Golden. Our group had a wide variety of cocktails and appetizers. Martinis and mules, dips and sliders, it was all quite good. The salt and pepper chicken was a bit bland and the presentation on that dish was a little lacking but overall the food was great. The... More

We love the Chart House for happy hour. They make great drinks and have really tasty appetizers for a good price. Happy hour is only available in the bar so come early for a good table. I suggest the ahi nachos!
