We're local and end up eating at 'TMI' from time to time. They've recently made a menu change, and while the new menu look is nice, they've removed some vegetarian options, like the veggie lunch wrap. I'd like to see them add one more vegetarian option.
Their kids menu is still fairly solid, but if you're there for brunch, let your kids splurge on the cinnamon roll pancakes. They are AMAZING--you don't even need syrup! I was glad I let my son get those and just have leftovers as opposed to the kid's pancake options.
We always enjoy our meal at Table Mountain Inn. Staff always knows their stuff and is attentive.

Party of 4 adults, corn muffins bought to table were delicious. Less satisfactory was my salmon entree. VERY small piece of salmon - probably smallest I've ever received as a dinner portion. Both asparagus and spinach sides were so salty I hardly ate any of them. Service was acceptable. Restaurant wasn't very busy on a Sunday evening in January at 5:30 pm. "Full service" bar could not make me a Bahama Mama or a frozen Pina colada.

Delicious margaritas to start, then we split the flatbread turkey sandwich with relish and amazing french fries. Parking was free in the hotel and a perfect spot to walk down Washington and pop in on the shops after lunching. We made reservations in advance and requested outdoor seating, which wasn’t a problem and a perfect weather day for it.

We were very disappointed and surprised that a restaurant on main street in Golden could be this bad. The service was terrible and when our food arrived, the order was all wrong and the street tacos looked like they were sitting in water. The chicken in the tortilla soup tasted rotten and the carnitas taco (which we didn't even order) looked suspicious in color and we did not attempt to eat this.

The restaurant needs to try harder. I suspect this is an overall management issue with encouraging staff. OUR waiter was really good! He took our order for drinks and appetizers and brought our margaritas that he personally made in a reasonable time. They were great! He came back 3, yes THREE more times apologizing for the time it was taking for the appetizers . At 30 minutes, we asked for another margarita and our server asked another person to make them; they were both wrong and were remade by our server. After 45minutes from placing the order until the appetizers were delivered, they were edible but only warm and not good. Did I say there were only a few patrons in the restaurant ? Needless to say, dinner was out of the question here.

I had the Angus burger which was very nicely prepared and huge. I could not finish it. The fries that came with it were hot, crispy and very tasty. My wife had chicken fajitas which she thought were pretty good, but the chicken seemed to be a little bit on the drier side. Other than that she really enjoyed her meal. They had good COVID 19 precautions in place and the atmosphere was nice despite the situation. It was comfortable in the dining area and clean throughout, including the restrooms.

He knows his menu, so professional, attentive, not overly friendly. We were picky customers who wanted a snack and drink before heading off to another restaurant, he helped me choose what I needed, treated like kings. I’ve eaten here before and had lovely meals. The service has always been just right, but this guy really impressed. The food is as beautiful and tasty as it looks in the photos.

We’ve been dining at the Table Mountain Inn for at least 25 years and have truly appreciated the ambience, service and incredibly consistent quality of food. We have now visited twice in the past couple of months and both experiences were disappointing. The environment continues to be wonderful along with the service but the quality of the food has declined considerably. Over the years the Inn has served salmon changing with the seasons. This version was nearly inedible, it included odd ingredients which overall did not work and was served barely hot. A BLT on plantains was served cold and completely did not work and while chicken enchiladas were acceptable even that dish was not on the level as in the past. The wonderful corn muffins which were served with meals is also no longer. This is such a wonderful place; we hope things improve again. As mentioned, the service was excellent.

I went there for Lunch, I asked for a table outside. the receptionist said it will take 30 minutes for a table outside, I asked her if if I can set in the bar to start my drinks and than I can move when the table is ready. At the bar, the waiter was so rude, I asked her for couples of drinks which she didn't have but never tried to offer an alternative ( I asked for Peach bellini, she never give me any other options. I placed an appetizer , than my table was ready. She was extremely mad that I am moving to another table outside, she was so rude shacking her head , she came and throw the food at my table. It was not my fault that I asked for a table outside to get treated that way. I asked another waiter for the check. The other waiter apologized for the other bar waiter behavior. I never receive an apology from a manager or anyone else. Is this how you treat your visitors. May be some training for waiters not to get it out of customers when they are having a bad day

Great for both breakfast and dinner!
Breakfast - we had the Golden omelet, breakfast burrito and cinnamon roll pancakes. All delicious. We also ordered the homemade cinnamon rolls hot out of the oven. Be sure to get these - only available on Saturday and Sunday. Tip: don’t order the cinnamon roll pancakes if you get the cinnamon rolls because they are too similar.
Dinner: really enjoyed the chicken enchiladas, beef fajitas, shrimp fajitas and selection of street tacos. Margaritas are tasty. Our server was attentive but not intrusive, asking us at the appropriate time if we needed more drinks and giving us more water as needed. This allowed us to focus on catching up and enjoying the food and drink. Highly recommend!

We stopped in for dinner while traveling in the area. The food was good, the service was good, and the margaritas were great. It was a fairly busy Friday night but we were seated quickly, we chose to sit at a high top in the bar area so we could watch the Braves in the World Series. Our server was attentive and offered great food and drink suggestions. We would definitely return if in the area.

We were there on a Sunday, and it was a small menu. 3 Mexican plate choices, a few burgers and sandwiches, appetizers. Not very busy. Our first time there in about 5 years. We both ordered the pork carnitas chimi, and it was really good. Lots of pork, huge chimi, great green chile. It's the first "Mexican" restaurant I've been in where you don't get free chips and salsa.

Three couples went to brunch here and we had to send back our vegetarian friend’s omelet 2 times and it still wasnt right - it had bacon on it. She gave up! The manager was going to comp her meal and give a discount - after the 3rd time of sending the bill back - the manager got it close enough. We just wanted to leave. Frustrating for all of us and for our poor waiter. He tried hard with the food but the kitchen could not do a cheeseless meatless omelet. He was as frustrated as we were.

Delicious brunch place in Golden, CO. Lots of sweet and savory options which made it difficult to choose which to go with. We had a large group with a reservation and we had great service, and it was a comfortable place to eat and spend time with our group. The restaurant is uniquely decorated and the waitress with friendly and helpful with any menu questions. I got the Huevos Rancheros, which was recommended to me. I would also recommend the dish to others looking for a hearty brunch meal

Take a quick look around before deciding which room to dine in, as there are a few, and they are distinctly different. Many of the dishes are spicier than you might expect. The waiter warned my girlfriend to avoid dishes with chili next time, recommending fajitas, quesadillas, sandwiches and enchiladas instead. The kitchen uses fresh farm to table ingredients and dinners were much healthier and prices higher than most Mexican fare. The Crispy Chili Relleno was very good, recommended by the waiter. The margaritas were better than I have had in recent memory. The atmosphere in the back room was perfect for the occasion.
