Great for breakfast - croissants were lovely, and just so relaxing. However, a great "coffee-house vibe!"

We had a great lunch there today. Several of the specials (savory quinoa) and some sandwiches. Food and service were good and the espresso & baked goods were great! Very pleasant place with friendly staff and good service.

Fantastic little find. Good food and bag lunches, too. Right downtown in the center of it all. If you can go here instead of Starbucks (it opens later), you should.

Good place for baked good and beverages. The wall murals/paintings throughout the restaurant are fun and made me smile. Customers are friendly and helpful for a first time visitor.

Stopped in for a casual lunch after a long morning of traveling and it exceeded my expectations. Food choices were excellent. Light but not too light, lots of variety and creativity. Several sandwiches and wraps, some salads, baked goods. Good coffee, too (plus some foofroo...coffee drinks). Would definitely go back.More

So incredibly friendly. Eating out when you have food intolerances is often a real pain, but the staff here was so friendly and accomodating and patient and really knew how to craft meals that both my son and I could safely eat. Rarely do you...find this type of customer service at a food establishment! We were also happy with our meal. It was very good.More

Eight of us tried this restaurant for the first time, on a Friday at noon. We were able to get two tables, but the place was busy. The atmosphere is relaxed an d comfortable. All of our meals were very good and the service was...friendly and efficient. The coffee was also good. We look forward to stopping by again.More

Our breakfast sandwiches and burrito were great. We also enjoyed our drip coffee, lattes, and cappuccino. The staff was super kind. They had a nice selection of gluten free options too. It’s a darling old building with beautiful paintings of horses for sale. It’s so...easy to feel the love and energy put into this cafe. Great start to our morning before campus tour.More

We walk quite often along the river there.....and we always go to the Windy Saddle for coffee and pastry afterward. Quiet atmosphere and attentive workers! Coffee is great and we enjoy going there.

Really liked the coffee and I am picky about coffee. They had a different selection of gluten free baked goods. every morning. Some were better tasting than others.

Windy Saddle used to be a nice place to get lunch but it has deteriorated over the past 2 years and I cannot go back. Generally, the place is dirty. The employees seem burned-out. The sandwiches have very little meat in them and the salads...are wilted.More
