Pros: Food is excellent. The live music was fantastic. He was fun, knew a ton of songs, has a phenomenal voice. The waitress was so sweet. I wish I would have gotten her name because she really was great. Cons: only 1. The man behind...the bar. Maybe he was just having a bad night, but he was rude. Condescending. Hateful. Arrogant. The waitress and musician both repeatedly apologized for his attitude. As we left, he didn’t intend for us to see him, but my friend turned to make sure she didn’t forget her purse and he was giving us the good ol’ fashioned one finger wave. It was obvious at that point that he was really just a miserable & unhappy person. We were staying at the Golden Hotel which is walking distance. We never drive after drinking. I’m not sure if that was his concern or if he’s just an overall jerk.More

First time here, stopped in for lunch. Had a bowl of spicy green chili (super good!!) and a French dip sandwich was also great.

Decided to try a new place in Golden and the menu looked fantastic. Appetizer we ordered herbed duck sausage with house made mustard and pickled veggies and flatbread This alone was fabulous! I had venison chili and my daughter had the happy chopped salad with...chicken. Very nice Sunday lunch with a roll up patio door to let the sun in on a nice day. Great service and friendly staff. Will definitely return again soon with family + friends.More

Classic staple in downtown Golden. Everything is so wonderful. From the ambience to the service it’s all great. The food and cocktails are actually pretty good too.

This saloon is located next to a hardware store -it’s one block behind the main historic District of Golden. It is definitely golden Colorado’s nugget. They are cranking out some awesome pub food from a very small kitchen and making amazing craft cocktails with amazing...bartenders. To top it off there was live music tonight and we totally enjoyed our experience here – excellent food - great drinks, great company,and very excellent music. We highly recommend this establishment.More

OK went to miners saloon on a whim. And we were totally not disappointed but the menu is different. If looking for the usual burger and wings this isn’t the place to go. My husband had a bison brat with homemade mustard and sauerkraut, totally...enjoyed it. I had a grilled cheese with Burutta cheese tomato and pesto and it was delicious. Bellied up to the bar , bartender was sweet, nice experience.More

Love this perfect little place. Great food,, drink and service! The view is priceless and the atmosphere is perfectly golden. Be sure to visit when you are in town!

Stopped in our first night in town after a 12 hour drive. Drinks were great-loved the atmosphere. I Iiked my French Dip but my sons grilled cheese was AMAZING!!

(Reviewed on Google March 2020) Michael and I arrived after dark in Golden and needed a place to eat. We scrolled through restaurants on Google and found this one. The menu looked great with good prices, so we headed on over. We were not disappointed!...I ordered the Potted Egg... I couldn't have been happier. How can you go wrong with cheese and an egg... you can't. Although it's an appetizer, it's perfect as a dish for one person. Michael ordered the chili hot dog, and although he didn't finish it, he absolutely enjoyed every bite! (We brought that home.) I don't usually do this, because it can be a huge mistake, but last night, I let the bartender make me a drink - his choice. I let him know I like sour, sweet, spicy, and a base of gin. He made me the St. George. I wrote down the ingredients it was that delicious! I also think our waiter was surprised by how much serrano chili syrup I liked in my drink. It was so good though! Thank you Miner's Saloon! Edit: We've come back for another visit, and again, we weren't disappointed! Yum! We swung by for a couple of drinks and a light dinner. Had a light dinner and a beer with daughter. Great choice! It was quiet. We had the bar area to ourselves. We both had the Burrata and Heirloom Tomato panini with zucchini & basil pesto, heirloom tomato, and basil. I tried the lentil salad, which...was very good. Great atmosphere and decor. My first time in a restaurant/saloon since the C19 thing, and really enjoyed this place. Very cool decor and ambiance. The people were friendly and professional. We had a side of their candied bacon... OMG... ya gotta try this out. Nice selection of beer on...tap, and good food. The bison brat was excellent. When we arrived a around 11:15am on a weekday, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. However, around lunch, a lot of people came in and I think that made us the few non-locals in the place. We thought the menu offered a nice...selection of items and not just traditional bar food. The food was good and quickly served. I thought the service was good and the staff was friendly. I would go back and would recommend.More
