Local diner, excellent breakfasts

We eat here often, mostly for breakfast (but sometimes for lunch). These guys have the best smoke canadian bacon on the planet - bar none. Their service has always been good. It's not fancy - it's a diner - but it's good, sometimes excellent.

Went there for an evening meal. Poor food. Indifferent service. Waited ages for food to arrive. Cold inside restaurant. Would definitely not go there again. Might be better for breakfast but there are many other far better restaurants in Glenwood Springs. Best avoided. Very disappointing.

Stopped in on my way to Grand Junction and had breakfast based on local recommendation. It was busy a testament to its popularity. I had the special Irish Benedict with home made hollandaise sauce. The food was plentiful and hot. The hollandaise sauce was just fair. The prices for being in the resort area were good. The help was good... More

Our family stopped here (with 4 kids in tow) and had a delicious dinner. The food was amazing, especially the deep fried French toast. The wait staff was fun and very accommodating!

Came in for breakfast. The staff were friendly and the food was great. My husband and I both ate for $20 and left food on the plate because the portions were huge.

If all the restaurants in downtown Glenwood springs are full this is a good alternative. It's a regular diner, with burgers etc. the food was OK, not great, not bad either. Waitress made a lot of mistakes with our bill, first she forgot the desserts, when we pointed it out she added them but did not total the right amount,... More

passed by this cute little diner on the way to our hotel, and made a mental note to check it out later. Went in for breakfast the next morning, and was delightfully surprised by the quaint, decor of another time, and the friendly atmosphere. I loved the old photos and the authentic "diner" furniture. The breakfast was serious business -... More

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. My wife and I like to come here for a late breakfast and have bloody Mary's or one of the other drinks that they have on special. I really enjoy the huevos rancheros! The lunch and dinner is good too.

Just what we needed for the classic american breakfast en route to skiing. Every combination of eggs that you can think of and then a couple more. Friendly service, good but not enormous portions (a plus, in my book) and well cooked and delicious food. The only thing I would moan about is the coffee which was a little on... More

Remember Saturday morning cartoons and dad making pancakes that is what the 19th Street Diner is all wrapped up into 1 place. The food makes you feel like you are getting the best hug of your life. The staff are happy (They really like their jobs), welcoming, warm and fun. If you are looking for a place where everybody knows... More
