My 87-year-old father has eaten here throughout the years and he says it's still the place to eat in Georgetown. I believe it's changed owners through the years, but it's still great. Accommodated our family of six with no problems. It's busy, so put your name in and do some shopping. Right off the main shopping area with good parking... More

We stopped off in George town just to browse through the town. While we were there we ate breakfast at the happy cooker. They have dining outside so we just chose to sit outside. I had the huevos rancheros and my wife had the waffle. The food was very good and the coffee was great. The wait staff was very... More

We sat outside and enjoyed the weather and some excellent and interesting food. I had the chicken ala king over a waffle and it was delicious. Also had a potato dish with cheese that was filling and tasty. Seemed to be a more choices for breakfast then lunch.

Went for lunch. Family of four. Good menu at reasonable prices. Excellent service with positive attitudes. Food was excellant and large portions. I had the ceasars salad, it came with bread, or I should say a slice, now this was no ordinary slice. It was about six inches by five and about inch and half thick. Toasted with a big... More

This is a neat little place in a historic home. Food features kiesh, egg Benedict, European waffles, and great tea. Fruit accompanies most dishes. Food maybe a little high in price but quality and quantity is abundant. Outdoor patio is dog friendly. Highly recommended for lunch.

After HOT waits on the train and walking down to the mine and the tour of the mine and back up to the train we were a hungry bunch. Don't be misled by the appearance of the building -- there are lots of tables and chairs inside too. All our food was tasty and portions were generous. The on-the-table water... More

A bustling place with friendly, competent staff. Nice fruit bowl as side item. I was a bit disappointed with the quiche, which was on the dry side. Almost all breakfast and lunch items were available throughout the day. There seemed to be a mix of regulars and tourists.

Great place to eat. They have a good menu selection. The french dip was very good. The prices are reasonable too.
