On our recent tour of Colorado we visited this cafe in Frisco because it was on the one hand on our itinerary and on the other hand it has so many good reviews that we just wanted to take it with us. the BB&C team is really courteous and friendly in customer interaction, very attentive and prudent. The quality of the products is excellent. No wonder then that the cafe was almost full and we only got a seat with a little luck. Value for money is overall fair.
Only my sandwich (BBQ sandwich ... actually a burger ... but with very little content) could not keep up with the expectations ie quantity because very little BBQ was contained. The other thing is the tipping thing ... we were last in Colorado in 2022 and usually got bills with 10%, 12%, 15% or 20% tips. The new experiences in already different places in Colorado either 15%, 20% or 25% or as in this cafe 20%, 22%, 25% or 30% tip. We paid cash ... ultimately with 23.5% tip.
In addition, we have been used to calculating tip from the net price and not from the gross price in our many CO-Round Trips so far - you never learn when traveling! But at least the cafe is to be considered that this circumstance is clearly shown on the invoice and you can react accordingly.

Fabulous breakfast restaurant! Monday morning at 8:30 was packed - but our service was excellent…and food was great! It is clearly loved by locals and tourists alike. My husband and I shared the avocado toast and the fruit and nuts plate…healthy, tasty and fast! If we live here, we would be regulars! If you pay in cash, you get a free cookie for every $20 spent. The Peanut butter cookie we shared was excellent (healthy breakfast reward😍)!

This place is hard to beat. The portions of food are almost too much, but tasty enough you eat it all, breakfast and lunch. Servers are usually efficient and friendly, given the amount of people they cater to daily. Their policy for seating is perfect. If your whole party isn't present when called you get put at the end. You're still on the list so be grateful. Too many try and snipe their way in saying we have more coming, but we're here. It's a no nonsense, self entitlement deterrent policy. It's way too popular and busy, for good reason, for them not to have this policy.

Thanks Echo! Our wedding cake was beautiful, and we love stopping in for breakfast or a quick bite whenever we are in the area. Echo and Butterhorn Bakery even went through some adversity just before our wedding date and still delivered everything we wanted, plus provided a beautiful cake stand for us as well. Highly recommend Butterhorn for all your bakery needs or for breakfast/lunch if you’re in the Friso area.

Was busy but the people were kind and getting people seated very quickly. Food was delicious 😋, and so was the London fog!! Corinne S was very kind and made sure the food came out good, she also noticed I was multi tasking and gave me space while making sure I was doing good.

The Butterhorn is a MUST if visiting Frisco, CO!! If there is a wait, it is totally worth it. CORINNE was very friendly and helped me with all my questions when I needed modifications to my meal even though they were extremely busy. The food came out very fast!

The atmosphere is a fun, cozy, local breakfast spot right on Main Street. I would imagine you would need a reservation on a busy weekend but we were able to walk right in on a Monday morning. Portions are rather large for consider splitting the plates. We all ordered specialty coffees - they serve them in glasses so make sure you ask for the coffee to be extra hot as they were not.

We ate here February 11th for breakfast and I do not know why people think this place is so good. We found the whole experience to be terrible! The food was prepared badly and rushed out without proper cooking on the eggs, the avocado toast was terrible with soggy too thick bread soaked with way too much balsamic. My eggs were requested to be cooked over well done and they came out barely over easy, the "home fries", which were basically raw chunks of over seasoned potatoes were awful, and the toast over buttered and cold. But the best part was when I complained to the Asian woman who appeared to be managing the seating responded with "well, I didn't cook your eggs"! Unbelievable! No offer to make it right, and then she started to argue with me. I finally had to tell her to get out of my face and go away. Don't waste your time or money here!

After renting bicycles in Breckinridge and riding the trail to Frisco, we arrived for a late breakfast or early lunch. The people at the visitors center recommended this place. It was a beautiful day to sit outside so we put our names in and walked around for about thirty minutes. We had the avocado toast and the cornucopia which were both delicious after bicycling. As a nice treat, the offer you a free cookie if you pay with cash. Food and service was good which is why it was busy.

It is located on the main street, a little less than halfway. The croissants are huge, light, and delicious. The restaurant has an extensive breakfast and sandwich menu
Outdoor dining is available and pleasant on the street. Eating before 12 or around one for a walk-up no-wait seating has been discovered. Professional staff and good price value. This restaurant has no faults, except bakery treats that will be hard to resist!

Excellent food. I had turkey with sprouts, tomato, and avocado. My partner had a scrambled egg dish. As a foodie and someone who spent my career in the sector, I am critical about quality ingredients. Butterhorn uses them.
Coffee was great and hot.
Had Stevia which is my sweetener of choice. Price was on the higher side but comparable to the area.
Portions were huge. So if you get a sandwich plan on taking 1/2 home as a second meal.
Staff was friendly and responsive. (Tina?) our wait staff was attentive and nice.
Absolute must-do if in the Frisco/Breck or nearby area.

The Butterhorn bakery is a well-known landmark in Frisco, Colorado. The food is absolutely phenomenal. Strongly recommend the cinnamon roll French toast - which could easily feed two people. The lattes are awesome. And the service provided by Corinne was stellar. Enjoy.

The place was packed at 12:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. Had the Classic New Yorker sandwich (corned beef, swiss, mustard on grilled rye) with potato salad and a pickle. All delicious. Even though is was so busy, I was in and out in 45 minutes. Recommended.

Very good breakfast! Great atmosphere. You can sit inside or outside. All the dishes that our family ordered were very good, like the habanero ketchup they have on the table, has local label on it. Just an all around fun and good place to eat.

We visited The Butterhorn Cafe with a large group of friends while on a trip to Breckenridge. Although service was a wee bit slow, the wait was worth it as the food was fantastic. Eggs were great, others enjoyed pancakes, delicious sides of bacon and good toast. We dined outdoors and it was a fun experience overall!
