We wandered into this restaurant because there was seating available outside. It wasn't until we sat down that we realized it was a Cajun restaurant. After looking through the menu, my girls (who are very picky eaters) thought we should go elsewhere as the weren't familiar with anything on the menu. At that moment the server showed up with samples.... More

We are from the south, so we were not sure about Cajun in Colorado, but I was getting a craving for it, so we went for dinner after hiking to Rainbow Lake. I think they were pretty close to closing, but they took us anyway, Our server was Hanna. She was really sweet and took very good care of us.... More

This is a great place to go and try everything. Get a bunch of friends together, or in my case 5 road weary family members, and just order a bunch of different stuff off the Gumbos and Cajun Classics to try together. We did and it was all good. Too bad this is many, many miles from home. The surroundings... More

I was born in Louisiana, and am very picky about Cajun food. I laughed at myself when I decided to go with Trip Advisor's recommendation to try a Cajun restaurant in Colorado! The smell was delicious. The tasting tray gave me all of the confidence that the food would be authentic. All of us were happy with what we ordered.... More

Lost Cajun has delicious food. They give you samples of their most popular dishes which is brilliant because then you can't wait to come back & try the other dishes you sampled. We likes the red beans & rice, lobster bisque, seafood gumbo, chicken jambalaya.

We biked down from Vail Pass and wanted lunch in Frisco. We are from Houston with strong Cajun roots so settled on this one. Service was Perfect. Outdoor seating on nice tables in shade was perfect. The food we ordered was very good. I had one of the better fried oyster poboys I have had. Drank some Dixie beer and... More

Ate dinner here twice. Everything was great. Fun simple and laid back. Catfish, jumbalaya, gumbo and beignets were all terrific.

Service was incredible and food was excellent and authentic Cajun. We loved the samples prior to ordering and it made it hard to chose. The beignets were the best we've had outside of New Orleans. We highly recommend The Lost Cajun.

I enjoyed the batter fried shrimp, but the catfish, which I went for was without flavor and soggy. We went because a guest was Cajun, she was unimpressed and her husband was totally disappointed, he eats healthy and that was difficult. Now to the hives.. Yes my wife got 'em. Something I've never seen before.

This is the Frisco, Colorado location. The interior looks Louisiana authentic right down to the slope of the floor. Many outdoor tables. Large servings -- ask to see the cup and the bowl. It starts with a sampler of their soups and jambalaya -- great idea. A good seafood gumbo with shrimp and shreds of crabmeat. A good jambalaya with... More
