Very busy bustling bar scene but the dining area in the back was still great for carrying on a conversation. The waitress was very attentive and kind. I had the Elk gnocchi special that was cook just right for an otherwise gamey meat. Wine by the glass was a bit pricey but the pleasant service and entree’ made up for it. Don’t let the noisy bar scene up front dissuade you. The dining area in the middle section is nice. It is a grade above the standard restuarant scene in Frisco. It is a good place for a special night out.

We went here as a family and everything was very good! My husband had a salad, I had the veggie tacos, my daughter had the beef tips & mashed, and my other daughter had the bison chili. Everyone was very happy with what they got. Good portions, too! Hostess and waiter were both great .... They seemed to love what they do!

Smallish, quite cozy and inviting venue. Interesting menu with good variety. The winter salad was perfection — crunchy, fresh, great combination if flavors and delicious dressing. The bison short rib was a bit peppery (so had some heat), but was a good size portion, served with creamy mashed potatoes, and yummy grilled asparagus. Enjoyed the service, ambience, and food?

Restaurant seemed nice. Waiter acted bored or disinterested. Ribeye special was bad. Why cover a good piece of meat with some bad sauce? Because it was not a good piece of meat. Fatty, tough, grizzly. I've spent a lot less for better steaks. Is this a new owner or cook? Waiter told us of 3 or 4 desserts. We chose 1 ( cheese cake with blueberries) After waiting for the dessert he comes over and said it wasn't blueberries but some Carmel. Doesn't a server know what the specials are?? On the bright side he didn't charge us for the small slice of cheesecake. A burger or chicken sandwich would have been better.

We ordered empanadas for an appetizer; they came back and said they were out. My Rueben sandwich barely had any sauerkraut on it. My husbands Shrimp Po’ Boy was just okay, not great. Our French fries were warm but not hot. Service was adequate. We’ll probably try another restaurant next time.

Food was really interesting. If we go back we’ll stick with salads and appetizers - fish tacos and Korean fried chicken sliders were wonderful. Salads are large and tasty. Smallish beer on tap offerings but good bar. I had the paella which wasn’t great too heavy/greasy and I admit to ordering regret as the rest of the entrees were good. We went on a busy Saturday night with no reservation- got a table but felt lucky. For walk ins they take your cell # so you can wander the neighborhood while you wait. Staff was friendly and the service competent but we did wait on drinks which is a pet peeve of mine. Overall excellent - it is clear they are trying when they probably don’t have too in a resort town like this.

7/14/20 After the scenic drive to Frisco we stopped for a quick meal , which evolved into dinner A very pleasant experience, greeted by two wait staff ( Alicia plus one training), Greeted very cordially by them both. My wife ordered Pork Loin tenderloin and I had the Steak and shrimp. Both portions were filling, but a little pricey, nothing unusual for Frisco. Main Street had been closed for vehicular traffic so the outside dining area had expanded into the street. (Covid) Service was very good, both waitresses were courteous and attentive, Compliments to the chef and his staff for a steak delivered as ordered

I don't count myself as that picky. Based on the high reviews I decided to treat my family to a great meal after being out camping for a couple of nights. Unfortunately, we had a couple of disappointments. The rolls arrived piping hot but were very small (2 bites) & there were only enough for 1 a piece. We asked if we could please have another basket and our waiter mumbled something about having an issue with the yeast that morning. The 'special' which was a rib eye steak, did not live up to my expectations. Our food arrived in good time but the steak was difficult to cut and chew. The meat itself was fatty. The vegetables offered with our entrees were a bit overcooked and came in small portions. Our waiter was very formal and stiff. It didn't seem like he was smiling or making an effort to connect with us. (I do realize he was wearing a mask, but you can tell when someone is smiling even with a mask).

On a whim, we stopped by for a quick snack on a Saturday afternoon. After a short wait, a lovely gentleman cleared a table and sat us on the patio; we watched him wear many hats, turned out he was the owner, host and cleared tables in this tough time of finding staff. We enjoyed the veggie tacos and they were amazing. Delanie, our waitress, was polite, knowledgeable and efficient. A great experience!!

This is an excellent choice for your dining experience. Each member of our family found a delicious choice. The filet was amazing, chicken saltimbocca was terrific, the chicken sandwich hit the spot and the chef’s fish special was out of this world. It is upscale but we really enjoyed the treat!!

Great service however the food was more than disappointing. We ordered three appetizers to split - the poke, sliders, and tacos. The poke was COVERED in mayo and other sauces, ruining the whole point in ordering raw fish. The sliders on the other hand had no sauce on them whatsoever, giving them zero flavor. Our favorite of the three were the tacos, which were mediocre. The best things we ordered were the spiked apple cider and a side of sweet potato fries. Sadly wouldn’t recommend.....

My husband and I are locals and we like to come for Sunday eve happy hour and dinner when the weather is nice and sit in the street where there is sun and views of the mountains (we like the addition of the Promenade!). While the food and service are consistently good, the host was very rude to us last night. We come on the slow nights and this being Monday night of the holiday weekend, it was a slow night as all the tourists had headed home. About 1/3 of the tables on the promenade area were full and 2/3 empty. When I asked if we could sit in one of the smaller tables in the sun, we were asked to sit in a two top in the shade so he could save the sunny tables for bigger parties. When I said that I did not to be in shade (too cold) and that we preferred a table in the sun (of which there were plenty) the host finally acquiesced with an audible sigh and proceeded to slam the menus on the table. The interaction ruined my evening. The only other tables he sat in the sun the entire evening were couples which he happily sat at the bigger 4 and 6 top tables. Not sure what happened there, but that kind of rudeness really leaves a bad taste in the mouth and not sure we will be back anytime soon, may need to try a new Sunday-night restaurant on Main Street.

This was fantastic. The food was great, the service was quick and personable. My wife and I split two appetizers, the pork sliders and the fish tacos…one word….amazing…My daughter got the chicken tenders. After reviewing the chicken tenders at a number of other restaurants, my 7 year old still raves about these ones and wants to go back. We will definitely go back again.

The food here is great - we particularly enjoyed the Bison Empanadas, Fish Tacos and the flatbread. Great raspberry lemon drops - all from the Happy Hour menu. Very friendly staff and great location with mountain views. Would highly recommend.

Nice pub like atmosphere and outstanding food. Mixed geeen salad, pan seared trout and petite filet with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus were superb. Bananas foster cheese cake . . . What can I say. Go there!
