We go there often. They have a great varied menu...and now...are open for take out. Please stop by and support them through these times.
Every thing we ordered was excellent. The Bison Empanadas, the Ahi Tuna Ceviche and the Carrot Ginger Soup for first course. Burger, 5th Avenue Salad and kids noodles for main. The Kids meal didn't have a lot of flavor but our kid is more of...an adventurous eater than most so maybe for other kids it would be fine. Service was great as well, very attentive. Oh, had the Cucumber Sage drink - really yummy. We'll be back next time we're in Frisco.More
I don't count myself as that picky. Based on the high reviews I decided to treat my family to a great meal after being out camping for a couple of nights. Unfortunately, we had a couple of disappointments. The rolls arrived piping hot but were...very small (2 bites) & there were only enough for 1 a piece. We asked if we could please have another basket and our waiter mumbled something about having an issue with the yeast that morning. The 'special' which was a rib eye steak, did not live up to my expectations. Our food arrived in good time but the steak was difficult to cut and chew. The meat itself was fatty. The vegetables offered with our entrees were a bit overcooked and came in small portions. Our waiter was very formal and stiff. It didn't seem like he was smiling or making an effort to connect with us. (I do realize he was wearing a mask, but you can tell when someone is smiling even with a mask).More
We were walking in Frisco when it started to rain. We stopped in this restaurant for a drink and dessert. Zachary did a very nice job waiting on our table. The Justin Cab was fabulous (as always) and the creme brulee was perfect....we ate every...bit. There was indoor and outdoor seating available. I noticed hummingbirds enjoying the flowers outside the restaurant while waiting to go in. We woukd definitely try this place for a full meal.More
Not sure why but I have not tried 5th Ave. I actually like that main street is closed giving the restaurants more table space. Had the Ruben which was good and the service was quick.
7/14/20 After the scenic drive to Frisco we stopped for a quick meal , which evolved into dinner A very pleasant experience, greeted by two wait staff ( Alicia plus one training), Greeted very cordially by them both. My wife ordered Pork Loin tenderloin and...I had the Steak and shrimp. Both portions were filling, but a little pricey, nothing unusual for Frisco. Main Street had been closed for vehicular traffic so the outside dining area had expanded into the street. (Covid) Service was very good, both waitresses were courteous and attentive, Compliments to the chef and his staff for a steak delivered as orderedMore
The food was great, the service fantastic, and the COVID precautions appreciated. Perfectly located on the Main Street, too!
Nice outdoor seating that was about it .. service was decent but the food was soooooo salty it was almost inedible... average offering and way over priced for tasteless food they need to pour salt all over ... walk on
This is our “go to “ restaurant when we have out of town guests. The menus is a mix of local specialties and regular items so everyone can find something they like. The filet mignon is amazing and so are the Southwest Mac and cheese...balls. The service is always terrific as well...More
