We found this out of the way place after a Rams men's basketball game. We were the last people to come in. The food we had was terrific! Baba Ganouj, Lentil Soup and the Chicken Kabob chef's plate- all tasted great. They do not serve alcohol and I am not sure they allow BYOB. We will visit again for freshly prepared mediterranean dishes.

We visited here on the recommendation of a friend of a friend and were not disappointed. The chicken shwarma was the best I have ever had with a perfect balance of spices. My companion had the vegetarian combo and loved every item on the dish. The falafel was especially flavorful. Highly recommend.

This is actually a repeat visit for me. I had a very positive experience first time around but wanted to see if this place was consistent. I am very happy to report that the food was as delicious today as the first time I came. I ordered a vegetarian platter at lunch and an extra pita .... I ate all of it. The atmosphere is very nice the music is good although a little loud and the wait time for the food was very short. I will definitely be back.

Sitting here now, being ignored by the waiter. I'm the only one in the restaurant. Took 45 minutes to get lamb kabobs, which were ok, but far too over-cooked. Baba ghanouj had none of that smoky, savory taste, like the eggplant was cooked in an oven. Finally, got the waiter's attention to fill my water glass.

I was disappointed with my recent experience at Petra Grill. I was expecting a Turkish restaurant, but it is actually a Middle East restaurant. The food was not good, and the service was terrible. I ordered a variety of appetizers, a lamb kebab, and a dessert. The appetizers were all bland and tasteless. The lamb kebab was not cooked well. The dessert, which was supposed to be kunefe, was a strange orange color (!) shredded filo over a though cheese which tasted like a rubber gum! Kunefe is actually a very delicious desert with a melting cheese in your mouth, but this one was not kunefe. The service was also very slow. There was only one waiter working, and he seemed overwhelmed. It took a long time to get our food, and our drinks were never refilled. He never came asked we need anything or not during the whole time there. I will not be returning to Petra Grill. I would recommend that others avoid this restaurant as well. Turkish dishes and Arabic dishes are very different, and Petra Grill does not do a good job of representing Turkish kitches at all.

First and foremost, a restaurant should get your order correct. They did not. The food was acceptable to terrible. The acceptable was the rice and gyros meat. The chicken kabobs, salad, fries, grilled veg, mushrooms and cauliflower were terrible. I love Mediterranean food and have his place totally misses the mark.

We moved away for 4 years and recently moved back. When we first went, it was run by a husband and wife. The service was quick and friendly and the food was tasty. Fast forward to today (Oct. 8, 2021), and what a complete letdown. I don't know who took it over, but the service was practically non-existent, the wait was forever, and the food was meh at best. Our waiter seemed to be bored. We waited for what felt like close to an hour. We were about to get up and leave when they finally delivered our order. Then we had to wait for them to bring us our utensils. I ordered a chicken hummus plate. The chicken was lukewarm, and it wasn't even good. How can you mess up chicken?! the garlic sauce was awful. I also had to wait for them to bring me the pita that was supposed to come with it. Our entire dining experience was a disappointment. We won't go back. Don't waste your time going here. Unless you like being disappointed and eating meh food.

I was excited to try Petra. The place looks and smells like it should. We hit it at lunch time and it was slow. Food was good but not a great . If the office wanted to go again I would say yes, but I would not keep this one in my date night list.

We enjoyed a weeknight dinner here and the food, decor and music were just like eating in Amman. The food was tasty and well-prepared, with plentiful servings. The lamb was succulent, the kofta were nicely spiced, and the falafel were tasty - if just a bit dough-y. The bits of green salad were a little "tired". Service was casual. Overall it was some of the better Middle Eastern food in town, and well-suited for those who prefer vegetarian or gluten-free options.

I was visiting my daughter at CSU and she got out late from playing in the band for a volleyball game. We got to the grill about 15 or 20 minutes before they were supposed to close. Realizing it was so late, we asked if it was too late to get a bite. They said no problem, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. At no time during our meal did we feel rushed. So they kept the place open just for us. The food was great and the service was superb. We will definitely come back.

I spotted this place last visit and was hoping to get a chance to try. We were not disappointed. The food was prepared very well. We reached ordered different dishes, hummus, chicken, lamb, falafel and they were all perfectly prepared. My daughter hadn't tried this type of food, but is now a huge fan. Putting it on the "must go back to frequently" list.

I ate here on a Sunday by myself and enjoyed a delicious meal. I had the beef shawarma and it was tasty. The young boy who helped me was charming and smart.

Cosy place. Traditional interior decoration. The good things it close after 10 pm. Meza was good. Meat arayes and kebab were greasy. We order kebab, chicken fatYer, falafel all served in short time. Staff was friendly . If I go there again I will order falafel,, and fatayer for sure.

The food was fresh made on site from the humus to the falafel. We were both hungry and ordered an appetizer of humus and vegetables, the waitress confirmed that it was made at the restaurant and it tasted fresh made. I had the gyro, no bread, and a side of rice, nice level of spice and a good rich flavor. my husband had the kabobs, the marinade was excellent with amazing flavor. The service was good and over all a very pleasant dinning experience.
