Ordered the 6 layer chocolate cake and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Laid back atmosphere. Parking can be challenging, but other than that highly recommended.

My husband and I went to The Chocolate Cafe for dessert during our visit to Ft. Collins. We used to live in FoCo and always loved coming here. The dessert is still absolutely delicious (the chocolate peanut butter pie is our favorite), but we were disappointed in the ambiance and service. It used to be a more romantic, quainter feeling... Oh my! a chocolate martini. Who knew just waving a bottle of vodka over a glass filled with cream de cacao, chocolate liqueur and half and half would be so yummy! Stop by, sit outside and sip away. And then there's dessert! oh my!

Everything I've had here was very good. But, I love going here for the 'Mexican' hot chocolate which has a little spice in it.

I think the subject line says it all. I'm not a big dessert fan in general, but my oh my is that good! I've been here many times and never ordered anything else. The croissant bread pudding is served with a decadent warm sauce to pour over the delicious dessert! Absolutely fabulous!

We walked in looking to buy some chocolates. We met the very friendly owners who have been there for many years. We discovered that it was more of a place to go get dessert. They explained how they started serving meals because some customers were also looking for that. We looked at the menu and decided to return the next... More

After date night my wife and thought we would stop in and try the Chocolate Cafe. It was a Wednesday night in old town Ft Collins so we didn't think that lines and over crowding would be a problem. We arrived to a cute little place with a very welcoming patio on Olive St. We walked up to the Hosts... More

The Chocolate Cafe serves more than just chocolate. They have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, regular lunch and dinner fare, and other non-chocolate desserts. This is a quaint cafe, so seating is cozy and there are not many tables. I was there with a group of 15 and we took up half the seating. During the warm months, there is a... More
