I’ve lived in Fort Collins for 30 years and am just now aware of The Mountain Cafe. My coworker decided to take me to lunch today where we were welcomed by the hostess, Beth, with a friendly and authentic personality. I had never been and...so I asked what the special of the day was... and she was able to show me a plate from one of her regulars. The Persian Plate was delicious and filling. Mo ( the owner) came out to say hello and see how our day was going, which was nice. Beth also offered some very humorous conversation. I never really am into writing reviews because they can be misleading or biased... however... If you are traveling or just looking to try something new... I highly recommend The Mountain Cafe as the food is as warm as the hearts that made it. Enjoy!More

This is a great option for breakfast or lunch. The sloppy joe sandwich with french fries special was spot on! Thank you!

I have eaten there several times and was willing to overlook a few things but this will be my last visit. Hash browns were served swimming in grease. I sent them back and asked for crispy. The second serving was just like the first. Absolutely...swimming in grease. The breakfast sausage was pink inside and, as you can guess, swimming in grease. I won’t be back.More

This is a small neighborhood diner-like atmosphere. One person running the dining area and she did a great job. The food was excellent! No frills, just good food.

Just flew in from Maryland and needed lunch before finishing drive to Cheyenne. Fantastic burger, fresh cut fries and super friendly service. Clean and well-priced. Thank you to our waitress whose name we should have gotten!

The food was awesome, the price was good, the place was cozy and the staff was super friendly. Besides it's kind of unique experience. What more can you ask for?

Ate there with my boyfriend and friends this weekend and loved it. My friend and her boyfriend go there often; their favorite little spot to take visitors. They have a great little private, quiet, outdoor patio space. The staff was very friendly and attentive and...the owner popped out to check on us and make sure we were enjoying our meals. The food was great! My burrito was awesome and stuffed full of fresh ingredients, and my boyfriend loved his steak and eggs. Prices and selective menu can't be beaten, especially compared to those trendy places with long lines right down the street!! Can't wait to go there again next time we're visiting Ft. Collins!More
