It is rare that you find a diner that truly impresses you with their food. This one does it. Wow. We highly recommend the texas french toast, or a side of medium eggs, or the Farmer's breakfast. Everything was so fresh and delicious (and well...portioned), you wont be disappointed.More

So glad you enjoyed your Silver Grill visit! Thank you!

Reviewed April 15, 2024

Up until this most recent visit, Silver Grill was a staple breakfast and brunch restaurant for my family and I. We've enjoyed coming here since 2016 and have always prioritize visiting over other restaurants in Fort Collins. On 4/13/24, we once again visited hoping to...enjoy our experience. When we arrived, we waited a while before being seated and the host, Sydney Bogle, was not accommodating to my mom's disability. Since my mom has a disability, she requested to sit near the main entrance to avoid having to walk far. Sydney rudely responded, "I will tell you where you can sit." We were so shocked by her response and it ruined the rest of our experience and put a damper on the rest of our trip (my family flew in to visit). I do not know what type of training the new owners are conducting but this is not what I expected to happen. Sydney not accommodating someone, especially with a disability is unacceptable, rude, and unprofessional. I hope this review makes its way back to the owners so they know who they are employing and how long time customers are being treated. Honestly, this experience was such a disappointment we sadly won't be coming back. Additionally, Sydney took a while to seat us because she was standing behind the cinnamon counter for a while before doing her job as host. We noticed she was on her phone the entire time.More

definitely worth the time! Both food and service were excellent. One of us had lunch, one had breakfast; Denver omelet got rave review! We were full but had to have a cinnamon bun so we took one to go. Yummy even at home but I...bet it would have been better while at Silver Cafe.More

First time visiting and I was very impressed. We went on a Sunday morning (just beat the rush) and ordered espresso drinks and food. Everything was very tasty. I ordered the Fried Chicken and Cinnamon Toast. The "toast" is really a griddled cinnamon roll; fantastic...tasting. The chicken was perfectly cooked. If I had one suggestion, I would add a little more kick/heat to the breading, otherwise it was perfect. Service was great, the bathrooms and restaurant were clean, and prices were fair.More

Delighted that we called here and what a great place to go . Always great to see a place busy in the morning which is a sign that it must be very popular . The Trout and eggs were just delicious and something I never...had for Breakfast before as was the Denver omelette which was top class . Good staff and a good menu to choose from .More

This is a great spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The food was great and service was good. My friend tried the biscuits and gravy, and said they were the best on our trip. I had a blueberry pancake, which was delicious….one pancake filled the...plate! We purchased a pecan roll for later, which was excellent. Cinnamon rolls looked yummy also.More

The cinnamon rolls, the tamale and eggs , veggie omlete and biscuits were very good. Liked it so much that we went 2 days in a row before leaving town. Service excellent and friendly too.

We had to get breakfast, and we needed up at Silver Grill Cafe. Just FABULOUS, great variety and extremely tasty breakfast; good service, nice coffee; later we also bought a 4-pack of cinnamon roles, they are famous for them, and went know why, they are...awesome. Highly recommend this place.More

Amazing breakfasts in Ft. Collins. Ate here three times recently and everything is delicious. The cinnamon roll might be the best I have ever had. Definitely need to try this (although the pecan rolls look amazing as well). The perfect ratio of bread to cinnamon...to sugar to ooey icing. The corned beef hash and eggs is amazing. Incredible corned beef, seasoned like NY deli, and tons of it. The green chili tamale and eggs is also a must get if you like tamales. Both entrees are huge. The biscuits and gravy were probably my least favorite meal of all three. The gravy was tasty, but I was expecting the best biscuit that I have ever tried after sampling the cinnamon roll - that is probably unfair. Everyone else in the family re-ordered what they got previously. The steak and eggs had the best cooked steak that I have ever seen at a breakfast place (let alone a steakhouse). This was not some tiny piece of steak thrown in as an afterthought. The orange juice is fresh-squeezed and the service is top notch. You definitely should go here if breakfast is your favorite meal of the day!More

Our family has enjoyed a 10 day road trip. We enjoyed breakfast twice on the trip, passing through. Delicious coffee, cinnamon rolls were huge, and breakfast dishes were very generous. We really enjoyed the breakfast burrito and quesidillas. A hit with our family twice!

Read positive reviews so went for lunch today. Cinnamon rolls are nothing great. Not enough icing or cinnamon for our tastes. Food took about 45 minutes. Rueben sandwich was burnt with not very much corned beef. Fries weren’t hot when served. We don’t understand what...all the positive feedback is based on. Service was slow and inept at times.More

Really good service. Salads are generally generic or sub-par if you don't make them yourself. These were fantastic! I saw someone's salad on another table, and knew I had to order one for myself. Our group also had sandwiches, which were really good. We took...a cinnamon roll to go - I have to say, it wasn't anything special.More
