Friendly service, good consistent food. Very good food. Well run. I recommend. The menu is varied and changes with the seasons, which is refreshing. I believe everything is made from scratch! Fresh and delightful!!

There were 4 of us that evening. The wait staff was very pleasant, very helpful, We ordered a fixed priced menu, and every item was beyond expectation! Ambiance was so cozy, yet elegant, without being pretentious. Good wine suggestion, delicious food! Perfect evening!

Food is AH-mazing. They serve the best calamari I've ever had, including Italy. Peaceful location in the mountains, and the ambiance of the place is second to none. Great place for a date night, and you can extend it to stay in the Three Bears lodge next door. The chef is English, and his wife runs the front of house.... More

My family recently had an event at the Bistro at Marshdale, and I can't stop thinking of all of the big things as well as the seemingly small things that went perfectly. First, the food is top-notch. We had 60 guests, and I heard comments like, "Not one slight misstep in any bite". Even the pickiest of guests was completely... More

Peaceful location outside the trendy Evergreen downtown area.... convenient for folks traveling from Conifer or Evergreen. Perfect place for a special occasion -- birthday, anniversary, etc. We did bring our young son, so perhaps a few more child friendly menu items would have been nice. But overall, great location, nice ambiance, and wonderful food. Great wine selection as well.

We had dinner here on a Saturday evening to celebrate a birthday. The lodge has a lot of character and they had a big fire going in the main dining room fire place. The service was excellent and our server had good suggestions from the menu. They had a delicious Manhatten clam chowder which we had as a starter. This... More

We enjoyed a weekend dinner at the Bistro. The food was outstanding as was the service. The building dates from the 1920's and makes for a nice mountain experience. The only negative is the noise level. It's a relatively small room with live surfaces. There was a large group along with a live piano playing and it was difficult to... More

Always enjoy dining at the Bistro in Marshdale. Love the place for special occasions, happy hour with friends, or "no special reason" to have an wonderful meal out. Atmosphere is a wonderfully preserved older building, staff are friendly and food is always excellent and menu does offer a wide variety of selections, some special foods also offered.

My wife and I visited this restaurant while vacationing in Evergreen. The food was excellent -- a three-course meal (appetizer, entree, dessert) cost only $30 and were well worth the price. We also got a bottle of wine that was outstanding. The restaurant atmosphere was impressive as well. It felt like we were eating in the dining room of a... More
