My husband and I dined at the Bistro at Marshdale on a Sunday night late in July. The restaurant is beautiful with a sort of rustic feel. The staff told us that many evenings you can see elk grazing in the nearby pastures. As evidenced by the name the restaurant is not in the town of Evergreen proper, but in... More

We were staying in Evergreen and this restaurant was recommended by a local woman. It was pricey but wonderful. The service was friendly and attentive. Two of us had the bison ribeye, one the Colorado lamb and the 4th the filet. We were all very full and happy after our meals! The piano player also added to the atmosphere.

I went to the Bistro for the first time a couple of years ago with my mother in law and 2 sister in laws -- we had a wonderful meal. I took my husband and a family friend in there just 2 weeks ago for their first time after multiple visits to the Evergreen area, They LOVED it.

This was our 3rd year to visit the Evergreen area and our 5th dining experience at the Bistro. The Bistro is just a few minutes from downtown and worth the short drive. Good service (thanks Taylor and Kaycee) with a nice menu selection. Great wines at a fair price to pair with your meals. We enjoy the menu because to... More

Outside looks a little rustic, but inside is very nice, clean, white table cloths with Mountain Atmosphere. The lunch choices were very nice; pretty uniformly priced around $12.95. Food was excellent and our waiter very attentive, but not hovering. He arranged for two special requests and the cook had no problem with it, since everything is made fresh, from scratch!... More

Friendly service, good consistent food. Very good food. Well run. I recommend. The menu is varied and changes with the seasons, which is refreshing. I believe everything is made from scratch! Fresh and delightful!!

There were 4 of us that evening. The wait staff was very pleasant, very helpful, We ordered a fixed priced menu, and every item was beyond expectation! Ambiance was so cozy, yet elegant, without being pretentious. Good wine suggestion, delicious food! Perfect evening!

Food is AH-mazing. They serve the best calamari I've ever had, including Italy. Peaceful location in the mountains, and the ambiance of the place is second to none. Great place for a date night, and you can extend it to stay in the Three Bears lodge next door. The chef is English, and his wife runs the front of house.... More

My family recently had an event at the Bistro at Marshdale, and I can't stop thinking of all of the big things as well as the seemingly small things that went perfectly. First, the food is top-notch. We had 60 guests, and I heard comments like, "Not one slight misstep in any bite". Even the pickiest of guests was completely... More

Peaceful location outside the trendy Evergreen downtown area.... convenient for folks traveling from Conifer or Evergreen. Perfect place for a special occasion -- birthday, anniversary, etc. We did bring our young son, so perhaps a few more child friendly menu items would have been nice. But overall, great location, nice ambiance, and wonderful food. Great wine selection as well.
