We were long time visitors to this restaurant. Unfortunately, during covid, at its high we were at a 2 top and right next to us, the table was being set up merely 2 feet from us. We were getting ready to leave, but we still...complained about the close proximity. Now the owner won’t seat us because we complained! Get a grip and admit that you were wrong, We have been eating in this restaurant way before you took over.More

We got takeout to take back to our Airbnb. The food was delicious. The carpaccio was perfect with the truffle aioli and capers. The burrata was actually our least favorite, it was tougher than typical burratas and not easy to cut into. I got the...papardelle with veal meatballs, and I declared it the best meatball I've ever had. Moist and flavorful without being dense. My husband got thr rigatoni with elk sausage and he loved it. I would love to go back here and try more on the menu.More

Coming back to Denver from a Gateway we got snowed in just before Vail. This was the BES T Italian food we have ever had (and we are in our 70s).The master chef has a bird s eye view of the lower level. No wonder...he is forever in enormous smiles. I loved the 100% veal meat balls. And the spinach sautéed in garlic cloves and currants! Wish I had ordered brown butter cake. Every dish was 100% wonderful. P.S. for small children, meatballs were over peppered.More

Great ambiance! We didn’t have a reservation so had to sit at the bar, but was very nice. The food was fabulous! The salad was so good and the prosciutto appetizer was awesome!! Definitely will come back next to me we’re in town!

We had reservations and showed up on time and we’re seated fairly quickly. Katie our server was pleasant and took our beverage orders. Pace of the night was pretty good. The fungi pizza was shared by two of us and was dry, with very little...sauce to give it more taste. My elk sausage and rigatoni was a bit spicy and the pasta was too al dente, the bread was good, but our server brought only oil and no balsamic to mix. We had to ask twice. The multiple cheese and pasta dish was good. Overall, it was an OK meal, but lacked some key things in food taste and our preference to make it only three stars.More

We had delightful dinner on Aug. 14 with another couple, and it was a very enjoyable evening. Our wait server, Mirko, communicated the specials to us, and that’s what we mostly had with just a couple of exceptions. We started out with the special appetizer...of Topino cheese (similar to Brie) wrapped in prosciutto which was first seared and then baked in the over - absolutely delicious! One in our party had the burrada salad as an appetizer, and one other in our party had the salad of arugula with watermelon and goat cheese. They were also great. Then 3/4 of us ordered the special halibut with lobster risotto, and it was excellent. 1/4 of us ordered the pasta special which had porocini mushrooms and cheese. He said it was divine. We finished off our meal by all sharing the donuts with vanilla ice cream and coffees. Simply an outstanding meal all the way around!More

We went to Zino for dinner while in town for a ski week. It's a nice place with good food. We started with the eggplant appetizer which were two balls that tasted like eggplant parmesan. They were delicious. I had the fungi pizza and side...of Brussels sprouts for dinner. The mushrooms were good and the spice of the arugula was a good compliment. I felt the pizza was a bit flat though. I asked for some balsamic vinegar and sprinkled it on the pizza. It worked well. The sprouts were also not as flavorful as I prefer. I don't eat meat so I wasn't eating the pancetta. Apparently it added salt and flavor. I also added balsamic to the Brussels sprouts and thought it was a good addition to the dish.More

We love going to Zino, even though there's no more happy hour due to seating more diners to increase capacity. WE get that! Service is always great, but the main bartender wears a mask with a vent! This is not an approved mask. They always...get our name for contact tracing, which is great, but the bartender wearing the vent mask ain't ok.More

A group of my friends and I came here for dinner one night while on a girls weekend trip. We absolutely loved all of our dishes and the wines were excellent too. The COVID precautions in place made us feel really comfortable and we were...able to eat outside. We started with the Burrata and it was fresh and creamy. I had the Pappardelle with the veal meatballs and it was very filling- I could barely finish it. So good! My friends loved their pizza and another friend really enjoyed her Rigatoni. Can’t wait to come back!More

Wonderful people own and manage this special restaurant. Their food is so good it’s hard to mention it all. My favorites are the pasta with veal meatballs, the outstanding pork chop and the arugula, mushroom thin crusted small pizza. Exceptional fun outdoor dining over looking...the river on lower level. The upper level , where the bar is located is a less formal and fun spot to dine...More

Five of us had dinner out on the back patio of Zino’s. Service was attentive & professional, tables were appropriately spaced apart, and waitstaff was wearing masks. Everyone enjoyed their meal, but a friend & I hit the jackpot with the Elk Bolognese with San...Marzano tomatoes, and Palisade Peaches. The flavor and texture was perfect... the peaches provided a slight counterpoint to the acidity of the tomatoes. Zino’s has a very good wine list, with a choice of 6 or 9 Oz pours if you are purchasing by the glass. Highly recommend.More

I have posted a lot of reviews online and I very, very rarely give a negative review so please take my warning about the way this restaurant does business very seriously. My warning to anyone making a reservation here is to not provide you credit...card in advance. The management here cannot be trusted. We placed our reservation through our hotel concierge. On the day of our reservation my wife called to reschedule, after being placed on hold were were told the date and time we wanted was not available so were were forced to just cancel. 5 days later, the restaurant charged our amex $450. My wife immediately called to inquire why we were just charged and the man on the line stated it was a no show fee. My wife tried to explain to him that we called and cancelled the reservation but he proceeded to argue with her telling her they had no record of the cancellation. My wife then gave me the phone and I tried to explain that I was right there when she called in and again the man argued with me on the phone arguing that he lost revenue. As a business owner myself, I am sympathetic to the losses of revenue experienced by most businesses, but we did the right thing, we cancelled our reservation and we cannot be held responsible for their loss of revenue. In addition, it is wrong and even criminal for them to charge our card $450 after we cancelled our reservation. I argued with the man, I explained to him that I would be forced to file a dispute with Amex (Which I have never had to do before) and his response was that I should go ahead and file the dispute. My recommendation to anyone reading this is DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS RESTAURANT. They cannot be trusted with your credit card information and they cannot be trusted to do the right thing.More
