The menu included "the best garlic bread you will ever have", and they may we'll be right. It was brilliant. The rest of the food was also excellent though we found the portions over large a common fault in this country. But as with the hotel the service was fantastic - genuinely friendly and thoughtful. We also had breakfast here... More

What a beautiful restaurant. So full of antiques and elegant touches. And the food was excellent! Try and get the table in the front window so you can enjoy the view to the street.

Located inside the Historic Strater Inn, dining in this wonderful establishment is like taking a trip back in time. The food was amazing and the service was very much on task and friendly. Great cup of coffee and amazing breakfast!

We were celebrating my wife's birthday and chose the Mahogany Grille for its quiet but incredible atmosphere. We were seated quickly and the server was very attentive. They have an extensive wine list and almost anything you would want from the bar. We started with salads and they were both just well put together and dressed. The rolls come out... More

The restaurant if beautiful, with a great menu. My favorite lettuce is frisee and they had a Bistro Salad that was great! I haven't had frisee since I got back to the States, so I really enjoyed this. I also had the lamb and it was wonderful, too.

Travelled to Durango to specifically eat at this place and it was closed! Sadly Friday was our last day in Durango and we never got to go! Truly upset and disappointed!

The Mahogany Grille represents the best in hotel dining at very reasonable prices. But don't dine here if you are in a hurry. They take pride in their food and service. THe quality is five star. The service may SEEM slow...but that's because its intended to be a relaxed and intimate experience. Food is as good or better than any... More

My brother picked Mahogany Grill based on vegetarian menu choices for my daughter. She's mostly vegetarian but will eat fish on occasion. She ended up having Japanese seared tuna as did I and we both loved it. My brother had the prime rib and it looked perfect. We finished with the lovely crime brûlée. It was all perfect and a... I have been to many of the fine restaurants in Durango. Mahogany Grill has been on our must do list for years. We were there for the Celtic Christmas show for dinner. Service was worse than terrible!! We were seated right away. We did have reservations. After about ten minutes waitress #1 came by and said she would be right... More
