We ate dinner here on a visit to Durango. The beers were great - they have $2 beer specials with different beers each night. The food was terrific - all of our meals were great - lots of flavor, very creative combinations. Atmosphere is awesome and service was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for good brewed beer and great food. Not at all your typical bar food. We got the buffalo chicken wrap and the hummus appetizer and it was fantastic. Girlfriend got the regular margarita and it wasn't very good. It was watered down and a little sour. One thing about this place... More

A day trip to Durango ended with a fantastic meal at the Steamworks Brewing Company. We sampled some of their beers, the Conductor and Third Eye pale ale, both were fantastically hopped and we'll balanced. The ambience was new style brewery with plenty of seating in the bar area, open ceiling, and peanut shells on the floor. She had the... More

Had dinner here a few weeks ago and it proved to be fairly typical brewery fare. The standout was the housemade salsa on the nachos. Smoky, tons of flavor, just the right amount of spice. Delicious. The fries were really good too. We ordered the chorizo burger and didn't love it but they may just have been us. I'm not... More

This is my 3rd time here visiting Durango and my wife's first time. I always make this a stop when in Durango because it's such a fun place and you can't beat the food and finely crafted beer. They have a good selection of food and beers on tap. I recommend anything on the menu, I have never been disappointed... More

I've been to Durango several times. This is the first time I've been to this restaurant and brew pub. TVs everywhere to enjoy a sporting event. Saturday night and only a ten minute wait for a table. Cajun Chicken sandwich was very good, a little spicy, but very tasty. The BBQ pizza was also delicious. We'll be back.

We had the daily special which was a chicken taco with a spicy pineapple salsa. It came with 2 huge tacos and a side salad. Everything was very fresh and excellent.

We really enjoyed the large selection of beer here and amongst us, sampled quite a few. The atmosphere was great as well, but we were in the room in front looking out on the street which made it nice and airy and open. Service was also fairly quick, given the large number of people there. We ordered the choose your... More

We visited Steamworks on the recommendation of two people. We were not disappointed. We had the buffalo chicken pizza and it was spicy and delicious. The restaurant had a large selection of beer. Also the menu had a good variety of food. There were a lot of televisions all over so that wherever you sit, one would be nearby. Our... More

Steamworks Brewing Co. Opened its doors in Durango in September 1996. A favorite watering hole for locals and visitors alike, the brewpub has much more to offer than award-winning craft beer. Known as a town meeting place, Steamworks enjoys a bustling, fun environment. Steamworks' culinary program is unmatched in the region in both breadth and quality of offerings. The "gastropub" fare includes regionally-raised meats and sustainable seafood. Healthy salads, delicious pizzas, spicy Southwestern-style dishes, and vegetarian & gluten-free offerings provide something for everyone who's hungry. The Steam Engine Lager is "arguably the best American - Style Amber Lager in the world" as it has garnered four Gold Medals, a Silver and a Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) over the years and also has taken a Silver Medal at the World Beer Cup (WBC). Steamworks has won a total of twelve GABF medals, and two WBC medals. The brewpub maintains up to 18 styles of beer on tap.
