My wife and I ate here for dinner on Thursday night. When we arrived we were told the wait would be 20-30 minutes and it ended up being 25. We were seated at a 4 top table near the bar. We were greeted by our...More

Great menu...something for everyone. The beer selection had a wide range - IPAs to sours. All staff members friendly & helpful. The back patio has lovely views of the surrounding area.

Great selection of brews but food is only so-so. It's a good option for a large group but expect a LOUD meal if you're there for dinner.

There are a lot of wonderful places to eat in Durango but this is a great place for everyone! A BIG menu and great service means everyone will leave happy! Just a short walk (100 ft?) from the Rochester/Leland House makes for a GREAT combination!...More

We stopped here because they were open until 10pm and there was no wait. The atmosphere is busy and loud like any good brewery and the building architecture is interesting. The service is good and the food is average. We got steak, fish and chips,...More

A very busy local micro brewery serving great ales and excellent food. It was extremely busy when we went but the staff were very efficient and the wait was definately worth while.

I have dined here multiple times and have always loved the food, service and atmosphere. It can be quite crowded but waits are not the long. Great place for large groups. Food choices are great, something for everyone and every mood.

We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening and there was a pretty good line outside but the wait was only half an hour. Although it was crowded, the service was great! The food was good and the beer was even better.

Description
Steamworks Brewing Co. Opened its doors in Durango in September 1996. A favorite watering hole for locals and visitors alike, the brewpub has much more to offer than award-winning craft beer. Known as a town meeting place, Steamworks enjoys a bustling, fun environment. Steamworks' culinary program is unmatched in the region in both breadth and quality of offerings. The "gastropub" fare includes regionally-raised meats and sustainable seafood. Healthy salads, delicious pizzas, spicy Southwestern-style dishes, and vegetarian & gluten-free offerings provide something for everyone who's hungry. The Steam Engine Lager is "arguably the best American - Style Amber Lager in the world" as it has garnered four Gold Medals, a Silver and a Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) over the years and also has taken a Silver Medal at the World Beer Cup (WBC). Steamworks has won a total of twelve GABF medals, and two WBC medals. The brewpub maintains up to 18 styles of beer on tap.
