Great restaurant with craft beer, and casual patio dining. We went on a beautiful day and enjoyed several of the craft beers and ordered the Cajun boil. It was fabulous. Boiled potatoes, shrimp, sausage, crab, and corn. Casual atmosphere. Great place.

After a long 13.5 hr drive from Wichita Falls, Tx this was a much welcomed end to a long day. They staff was great! We sat at the bar and I was never with out a beer. Tried several and they were all great. Hummus was excellent, as well as my hot wings and Cajun fries. I see us going... More

Later on a rainy evening we were told at our hotel there were only a couple restaurants still open (I still don’t know why most restaurants close early) and Steamworks Brewing Co. was one of them. Parking was difficult in the pouring rain but we were warmly greeted and seated quickly. Our server was the absolute best with attention and... More

When visiting Durango we always have a meal at Steam Works. We have been there for both lunch and dinner. My husband has gluten allergies and the waiter was very attentive to his meal questions.

The view was great...Our service was not..actually no service. We were constantly looking for our server or asking for him. I had soup and salad...the salad was good...the bisque was not. The reason this is a 3 is because of the view. A good place for drinks and an awesome carrot cake. Fish and chips were good.

The patio is the best seat in the house on an August evening. This place was one of the busier places I've seen on a Wednesday night. The menu was diverse with many unique entrees and appetizers. Their selection of seasoned French fries was vast and very tasty. The service was spot on, timely and informative. The carrot cake was... More

First time coming to Steam Works ... It was okay not the best or what I had in mind since so many people say it's good we came to give it a try and wasn't all that great really. Doesn't seem like they have variety.. Most likely not returning .. Asked for some chabata bread (not right spelling but sure... More

We ordered several of the beers which were excellent. One of our group ordered a hamburger which was average, another a chicken sandwich which was average, one a french dip which was great and a slightly better than average pita sandwich with beef and lamb.

We stopped in midweek to try one of their award-winning beers and have a bite to eat. Although the lager beer is not my preferred style, I can see why it won an award - it was refreshing and nicely made. The restaurant is large and we were seated by an open window, where flies soon became a problem. My... More

With a name like that, you've got to try it, right? I love it! It has just the right amount of fire - it doesn't linger nor does it burn your taste buds. The menu has s wide range of options and their portions are generous. My husband and I split an order of sliders, Cajun fries, and the Mediterranean... More

Description
Steamworks Brewing Co. Opened its doors in Durango in September 1996. A favorite watering hole for locals and visitors alike, the brewpub has much more to offer than award-winning craft beer. Known as a town meeting place, Steamworks enjoys a bustling, fun environment. Steamworks' culinary program is unmatched in the region in both breadth and quality of offerings. The "gastropub" fare includes regionally-raised meats and sustainable seafood. Healthy salads, delicious pizzas, spicy Southwestern-style dishes, and vegetarian & gluten-free offerings provide something for everyone who's hungry. The Steam Engine Lager is "arguably the best American - Style Amber Lager in the world" as it has garnered four Gold Medals, a Silver and a Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) over the years and also has taken a Silver Medal at the World Beer Cup (WBC). Steamworks has won a total of twelve GABF medals, and two WBC medals. The brewpub maintains up to 18 styles of beer on tap.
