The view was great...Our service was not..actually no service. We were constantly looking for our server or asking for him. I had soup and salad...the salad was good...the bisque was not. The reason this is a 3 is because of the view. A good place for drinks and an awesome carrot cake. Fish and chips were good.

The patio is the best seat in the house on an August evening. This place was one of the busier places I've seen on a Wednesday night. The menu was diverse with many unique entrees and appetizers. Their selection of seasoned French fries was vast and very tasty. The service was spot on, timely and informative. The carrot cake was... More

First time coming to Steam Works ... It was okay not the best or what I had in mind since so many people say it's good we came to give it a try and wasn't all that great really. Doesn't seem like they have variety.. Most likely not returning .. Asked for some chabata bread (not right spelling but sure... More

We ordered several of the beers which were excellent. One of our group ordered a hamburger which was average, another a chicken sandwich which was average, one a french dip which was great and a slightly better than average pita sandwich with beef and lamb.

We stopped in midweek to try one of their award-winning beers and have a bite to eat. Although the lager beer is not my preferred style, I can see why it won an award - it was refreshing and nicely made. The restaurant is large and we were seated by an open window, where flies soon became a problem. My... More

With a name like that, you've got to try it, right? I love it! It has just the right amount of fire - it doesn't linger nor does it burn your taste buds. The menu has s wide range of options and their portions are generous. My husband and I split an order of sliders, Cajun fries, and the Mediterranean... More

The wait staff was young and didn't seem to care about the customer. Service was sub par. The place seemed dirty. Although there were plenty of seats up front by the windows we were escorted to a table at the back near the kitchen. We asked to move and they did accommodate us, but moved us to what seemed to... This place was recommended by someone at another restaurant in town. It had a fun atmosphere and great food. The pizza is yummy and large, kids liked the root beer, burgers were great and service was good.

We had an awesome lunch out on the back deck. It was a beautiful day and the view on the top of the deck were very nice. Our sever was super nice and very knowledgable. The pizza and chicken wrap were also very good and the fries were nice and crispy.

I enjoy eating and drinking here when I can. They do a good job on their beers. I really liked the green chile brew! Generally, I get beer flights here so I can have a variety of tastiness! Food is good, portions are generous. Great place for a late night meal.

Steamworks Brewing Co. Opened its doors in Durango in September 1996. A favorite watering hole for locals and visitors alike, the brewpub has much more to offer than award-winning craft beer. Known as a town meeting place, Steamworks enjoys a bustling, fun environment. Steamworks' culinary program is unmatched in the region in both breadth and quality of offerings. The "gastropub" fare includes regionally-raised meats and sustainable seafood. Healthy salads, delicious pizzas, spicy Southwestern-style dishes, and vegetarian & gluten-free offerings provide something for everyone who's hungry. The Steam Engine Lager is "arguably the best American - Style Amber Lager in the world" as it has garnered four Gold Medals, a Silver and a Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) over the years and also has taken a Silver Medal at the World Beer Cup (WBC). Steamworks has won a total of twelve GABF medals, and two WBC medals. The brewpub maintains up to 18 styles of beer on tap.
