Fun atmosphere yet service was less than desirable. Servers were pleasant just not very efficient. Not sure if they were overloaded or???? Enjoyed atmosphere, no 'specialty' beers. Just the usual you could get anywhere in town.

Gave this place 2 stars because the beer was very good. Had we just come for beer, I would have given this five stars. However, we came for dinner. First, when we walked up, the hostess left to take some folks to their table but...did not return for 10 minutes. (fine) Then, were told to wait 25 minutes for a table. (fine) They took our beer order and took us to a spot to wait. On our way, we saw multiple open tables and did not see many folks ahead of us waiting. (fine) We only waited about five minutes for our beer (great!). But ended up waiting 30 minutes for our table (fine). When they brought us to our table, they took us to one of the tables that I saw was empty the entire time we were waiting (ok,fine). I had finished my beer and it was hot out so I wanted some water and another beer. Not one person came by for a full 15 minutes. (oof). I was finally able to flag someone who appeared to be the manager and I asked them if they could bring us water, another beer and some menus. She said she would be our server (great). However, she dropped off the water and beers and we never saw her again. Another 15 minutes went by when we could flag down another server and order our food. Meanwhile, table after table was getting served all around us and people who arrived after we did were finishing up their dinners. We ordered an appetizer and two main dishes. I had the pork (honestly, they were smoking it and it smelled-and tasted-delicious.) and my husband had a burger, which was good. They brought out our dinners after a while and no appetizer. I finally flagged someone down again to please let the kitchen know to not bring us the appetizer as we had plenty to eat by then. The guy who took our order--literally the only person who came to our table more than once--apologized for his forgetting to add it to our order (fine). Finally, we finished eating and then had to walk inside to find anyone to bring us our ticket. We were there over 2.5 hours and 2 hours of the 2.5 hours, we were searching for someone to help us. Honestly, this might have been my least favorite dining experience I've ever had when traveling. We kept asking for someone to please just be assigned to us. Honestly, we're not particularly demanding customers. I tip well and all I ask is that someone periodically check on us. When I finally found the guy who had initially taken our order and then forgot the appetizer, he said that he knew the service was terrible and he wished that he could adjust our bill. However, he could not. THAT made me angry. There was no reason we should have not been comped at least a beer OR he should have said nothing at all about it. He said that I did not need to tip him. Of course, I tipped him 30% of our bill. It's COVID and I know waitstaff are hurting now but dang, it did not feel good to do it and I know for a fact, we will not go back to that place again.More

I've been to Ska a number of times. Always liked & enjoyed the beer. Though, over the last three visits, I've noticed the beer lessening in quality. On this trip, the wife and I hit a couple breweries before going home. Things have gotten worse...at Ska. So much so, that I only ordered one beer and noticed about 4 hard Seltzer's on the menu. Not a good sign. We ordered lunch. I had a hot roast beef sandwich. The food was just plain bad. The sandwich was basically a lump of meat on a dry roll/bun. Some accoutrements, but again, fairly dry. I left party of it. The fries were horrendous. Semi-cold and without flavor. We also ordered their cheese, bacon fries (had some jalapenos) and left half the basket untouched. I don't know it's Ska is struggling financially, but if the food quality and high percentage of hard seltzer vs. beer on the menu is any indication, I'd say yes. I probably won't return. Carver & Steamworks are far better.More

We got appetizers. The jerk wings were outstanding! Not too hot with a lot of flavor. Then a cheese pizza. The selection of craft beer was huge. We tried 2 different kinds. Also bought 2 six packs and a growler to bring home. Ver good!

An outstanding choice for trying new brews and the Jamaican Jerk wings and pizza are delicious! We usually make this a must stop on our trip to Durango! Highly recommend.

We didn't eat here, just had a couple of local brews (which were excellent!) Off the beaten path if you're a tourist, but worth the trip if you're a beer lover.

A friend told us about this place, saying it was her favorite in Durango, so we tried it prior to flying out. Friendly server, great beer and food from a food truck that was really good. Had a burger and fries though there are many...other options. Order at the food truck inside and they buzz you or serve you depending on how busy they are. Enjoyed this relaxed atmosphere on a nice fall day.More

Hubby and I plus pup spent a lovely, lazy afternoon on the patio with great beer and food. It was hot so we chose pints of freshing 'Modus Hoperandi' and 'Moral Panic' - someone's got a sense of humor! I don't usually write reviews but...we were so impressed with this place. Hubby had the best ruben sandwich he had ever had and I had the delicious grilled cheese with brie, apples and prosciutto. My first choice was the grilled tempeh but that turned out to be way too spicey for me so they kindly swapped it for me. Not only was the service super friendly but they get high marks from us for using china plates & metal silverware & glasses - even outside. No single use plasitcs or recylceables here - well done Ska Brewing!More

Good beer, but the little attached restaurant/food truck/container thing is what makes this place. They say they are separate, but the one that poured my beer also was taking food orders.........
