We had breakfast twice during our trip and both times the food was great and the staff friendly and attentive. Loved the homemade biscuits and gravy!

After camping for weeks, we were starved for good coffee. My husband and I are coffee snobs, and this place had AMAZING coffee from a Santa Fe roaster. The California eggs Benedict had homemade sauce, and the French toast was thick and tasty. Tamales with green chile New Mexico worthy. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend!

Entire family enjoyed our breakfast. My sons really liked their pancakes. Reasonably priced food and very nice waitstaff. Only downside to our experience was the 40 min wait to get inside. Not the cafe's fault, just a lot of people wanting to eat there.

Very good breakfast with good prices. Good service and nice atmosphere. Here for a family wedding and stopped here for a quick breakfast. Had green chile chorizo Benedict.

Waitress was friendly, food was Good: biscuits were really good! Omelett was average! Oil for salad dressing was canola, which is genetically modified rape seed oil! Should be declared unfit for humans to eat, in my opinion.

I must dispute a portion of your review, we do not use canola oil. The oil served with salads is extra virgin olive oil. I share your dislike of canola oil. I'm very happy you loved your biscuit, I wish your omelette had been better than average though. Thanks for taking the time to post a review. More

Tried this place for breakfast and we were quite pleased. It's a small cafe that we heard gets very busy, but we got there early and didn't have to wait at all. They have a good selection including some egg-less dishes (good for me), and the food was very good and generous portions. Service was great too! We would come... More

Had a gluten-free blueberry pancakes with eggs (add zucchini) and the sausage. Super big portions! Very good place.

We got there early and did not have to wait. Smallish and not fancy but the food was good. I wanted to try something different and local. My husband likes familiar (eggs and potatoes). They had something for both of us. Lots of variety on the menu. Homemade biscuits. Our waitress was nice and answered my questions about the red... More

We visit Durango several times a year and College Drive Cafe is a staple of every trip! This is a small cafe with the best breakfast around. They have a little of everything, but it is all exceptional. There is generally a bit of a wait, but there are cozy places to sit and help yourself to coffee while you... More

We visited after reading the reviews and were pretty excited upon arrival. Unfortunately, our excitement was short lived. The staff was friendly and somewhat attentive, but the food was average. Had omelette, pancake, and some traditional breakfast fare. Really have nothing bad to say about the place, but didn't play up to all the hype. Recommended - yes, but don't... More
