Came Hungry Left Stuffed

We stopped in after a long day of travel ready for a hot meal and cool drinks found the perfect remedy. We don't claim to be well trained on Mexican food but this place served authentic food to us. We all left stuffed and the wait staff made sure we had everything we needed. I will return when... read more

I eat here all the time and it's the best Mexican food in town. The tacos are obviously the popular choice scabs for good reason, but really it's all delicious. And I'm picky about my Mexican food!

Being in Durango is not the spot for fish. The shrimp were small and rubbery, the scallops were the size of a penny and had an off taste. My traveling companion had the rellenos and they were not cooked through and the stuffing was cold. The salsa was bland but the chips were warm, crisp and had a good corn... More

Really Good Food and Awesome Mango Margaritas! Love Their Molcajete Mexican Style & Would Recommend The Camarones Cancun. Reasonably Priced and Good Service. Decent Sized Portions! Very Tasty Has Good Flavor!

Being from Southern California, we are well versed in great Mexican food so this place was a wonderful find on our travels. The small place was packed when we arrived but we were seated quickly and served chips and salsa (note that the first basket is free but more chips and salsa cost $3.50). I had a carnitas taco which... More

The salsa is hot, and the guacamole is chunky and delicious. We had a choice of Pacifico, Modelo, and Dos Equis on tap. Steak Fajitas were more than I could eat, with lots of onions and peppers. My husband loved his combo plate, and watch out for the giant margarita!

I stumbled in by viewing a full parking lot. Margs made with freshly squeezed limes and chopped ice. Maybe 50 tequilas with reasonable shot prices for decent brands...also had my fav Chamucos. The carnitas offered a heaping portion and the chile relleno was better than most. The only regret were store bought tortillas and chips. However the sauce was better... More

As a family of four, we ordered the mixed seafood selection which is advertised to serve two. It was plenty for four of us and it was truly delicious. We all highly recommend this place and we certainly will be returning.

I'm from Texas, and I was surprised to find quality mexican food (and seafood!) in Durango, CO. On top of that, it's a tequila-lover's dream! They have a huge tequila menu that was a lot of fun. They were great when accommodating our large group (16 people) even though it's a relatively small restaurant.
