Sitting next to the Animas river is a delightful experience. Watching the rafters, tubers and kayakers go by is great fun. Everyone waves at each other and smiles. Although we arrived on time for lunch, there was monor glitch with the staff to find the keys to open everything up. Oh well, we didn't care - there was no hurry... More

This is a great place to have a great mean away from the downtown crowds and see a beautiful river. You can have flatbreads if you don't want to spend a fortune. There is also a great breakfast menu and wonderful desserts.

Animas River Cafe is a restaurant situated with a view of the Animas River. Enjoy a good lunch watching rafters and tubers floating past. Food and service were good. Located at the Durango Doubletree Hotel.

This cafe is hooked to hilton doubletree hotel and sits along the river..it's all outside seating and gets hot during evening with sun beating on you... also the food is very over priced for the quality of the food... even found a hair in my salad so yummy! !!!!! They didn't even ask to take it off the bill but... More

A Cafe on the back side of the Doubletree Hotel. Really lovely space to stop along the river walk for a quick bite to eat or a drink. The food was OK, not fabulous but fine.

Met a friend for lunch. Hot day, they had plenty of seating in the shade or with direct sun. Very friendly service. The "chips" instead of bread were very good to start. Food was good. Enjoyed watching the rafters. Was a nice lunch, unique setting for Durango being on the river.

Had a very pleasant lunch here before setting off for Moab. Our waitress, the same one from breakfast in the Doubletree, was really chatty and friendly and the food was very good. Really peaceful setting by the river , even if it was orange, with the occasional jogger and cyclist going past....very nice.

The food was very average and extremely expensive. The view of the river was very nice though and I enjoyed the location.
