We dined on a Friday evening and couldn't understand why there was only one other table of patrons in the restaurant and a couple outside. We found the food to be tasty and authentic. The lasagna was especially good, as was the arugula salad, and they were able to accommodate our companion with gluten-free pasta. My glass of wine was... More

The hostess was not happy to see us and the server was slow BUT the food was really good! The lasagna was very good. The bread was excellent.

We had lunch; I had pasta with tomato cream sauce which I could duplicate using a can of Progresso creamy tomato soup. Service was nothing special, portions were small, prices were double the price they should have been. 3 meatless pasta dishes (1 from the child menu), 1 garden salad, 2 glasses of water and 1 soda cost $48 +... The authenticity of the menu choices was quite impressive. I thought the portion sizes were a little bit small. But all in all it was a good meal with good service and I would definitely return if I was in Durango

Just had the homemade pasta at Guidos and it was delicious. An entirely different taste than the store bought pastas. Highly recommend it.

We stopped by Guidos as a refuge from the tex-mex/pizza fare of this summer ski town. The atmosphere was fair. It was a combination Italian meat market and purported fine dining. I tried the Italian margarita which was mixed poorly and had so much ice in the small glass you could not bring it to your lips without a cascade... More

Under new management Guido's has a new, fresh look with good food. Some of the wait staff remains the same that I've always found helpful. Guido's Favorite is on my list of favorite sandwiches and I think it's even better! Not sure Durango needs more pizza but inside or outside on the patio Guido's has a beautiful new look and... More

Live near Durango and visit the restaurants regularly. Many nice restaurants but Guido's isn't one of them: Arrogant management, surly staff and poor quality food. They've got the trifecta, but it won't be taking them anywhere.

Service has declined lately. Still great food. Has been redesigned, now pizza. At 12th street, less busy but quiet, unlike the other restaurants closer in.
