We arrive shortly before our guests and were promptly seated. We were then ignored (no water, no wine, no bread) until our guests arrived when an offer was made. Although we were not in a rush the attention from the waiter was spotty at best. He seemed to have too many tables to care for. The food was delicious, if... More

This was by far the best food of our trip! I had a wonderful pasta dish with shrimp and a white wine/garlic sauce. The pasta was homemade and cooked to perfection! The shrimp were large a fresh. What a treat!

Great service and excellent food. We've been there twice and have been very happy both times. Considering it's right on Main St., it's still a little hard to find (it's down the street a bit from the main tourist area), but well worth the trouble.

We enjoyed Guido's special appetizer of the day - roasted beets. A delicious, generous portion that we were able to split. Pizza was delicious as well. The staff was extremely accommodating when it came to food allergies. We would return if we were in the area again.

For Italian food in Durango that is authentic Italian and not the generic Americanized Italian, Guido's is the only place in town. The clams and mussels linguini is to die for.

Wonderful dinner of Oxtail stew and lasagna. Homemade pasta on the lasagna. braising sauce on the oxtail was devine the meat succulent. The tirimisu was perfect, and the cannoli made to order so the shell was fresh and flakey not soggy! There was a hint of orange, it was wonderful. There is a gelato bar also and a deli case... More

We went to Guido's for an evening meal with our family of five. For starters, we were assured by the hostess the food was carefully made to be authentic. That may be, but there were several things about our experience that were definitely lacking. For starters, the arugula salad was absolutely ruined but way too much lemon in the dressing,... More

We dined on a Friday evening and couldn't understand why there was only one other table of patrons in the restaurant and a couple outside. We found the food to be tasty and authentic. The lasagna was especially good, as was the arugula salad, and they were able to accommodate our companion with gluten-free pasta. My glass of wine was... More

We had lunch; I had pasta with tomato cream sauce which I could duplicate using a can of Progresso creamy tomato soup. Service was nothing special, portions were small, prices were double the price they should have been. 3 meatless pasta dishes (1 from the child menu), 1 garden salad, 2 glasses of water and 1 soda cost $48 +...
