Not only was the chicken fry steak and eggs off the charts, the history of this establishment is written on the back of the menu( Don't forget to read). It seems that this was one of Louis L'amour favorite places to write. Room 222 was his room of choice and the sounds coming from the Saloon ( Now the restaurant)... More

I love this bar. The service is good, the food is excellent, and they usually have great music in the evenings. The prices are also very good for Durango, and amazing if you go during happy hour.

I love this place. Located on the corner of the Strater hotel, it has history and it looks like it hasn't changed in 100 years. The live music is entertaining. The staff dress in period costumes and service is great. I enjoy the food too. It is delicious. It is just a busy place. Never get sick of it though!

Restaurant is located at the Strater Hotel. Good food at reasonable prices, also offers live music in the evening. The staff were very friendly and service was quick. The menu offered choices for vegetarian and gluten free diets. The vegetable samosas were delicious as well as the tomato bisque soup.

I live here in Durango these days but have been visiting the Diamond Belle for over 40 years. Seems like there is always entertainment and a pleasant crowd. Nice to stay at the Strater and have this old time bar so close to your room.

The Diamond Belle Saloon Bar is located with its own entrance in the magnificent Strater Hotel on the corner of Main and West 7th. The bar has a great atmosphere, particularly in the evenings, and is absolutely delightful with its Victorian décor, piano player, barmen and western style saloon waitresses serving the tables. Worth a visit for a drink at... More

Went with a friend for lunch and was pleased to see an interesting brunch menu that included one of my favorites, Eggs Benedict. What a disappointment! While I was okay with soft yolks, the eggs arrived with uncooked, runny whites. I sent them back and about 15 minutes later, replacement eggs arrived, poached harder, but now the hash browns were... I have had a lot of decent meals here but, I feel the quality has fallen off. The last visit was a little disappointing. There are too many better places near there.

My husband and I try to visit Durango twice a year...summer and winter...totally different experiences. But the one thing that stays the same is the wonderful experience at The Diamond Belle. Lunch and dinner menus offer a variety of tasty food. I like their Spanish meatball soup. Happy Hour favorites are the spinach artichoke dip and potato skins. Not the... More

If you are visiting Durango, and want a fun night, this is your place! Good drinks, good food, and great entertainment. Let me be clear - Great entertainment! The staff was equally fun, dressed in period costumes, the servers were all very friendly, lots of smiles, and eager to do their part. Each night has different musicians, each with a... More
