First and foremost the beer was very good and my waiter was very knowledgable of their brews on tap and the details. The food part of the equation tries very hard, but falls short. The fixings and bun on the burger were top notch and had a very unique taste, however the meat itself I found the consistency of a... More

Always LOVE their breakfast and baked goods. Reasonably priced. For lunch try their green chili stew in a bread bowl or a burger! Yumo!

This is a place that has the standard pub fare with a southwestern twist. I had a side salad and sagamity, which is a bean stew like chili. Good place for lunch and dinner.

Stopped here for lunch with a large group. We were seated very quickly (a plus) but then told we would have to wait (translation - order and consume drinks) until the lunch service started. A bit transparent, but we were willing to go along. The micro-brew list was weak. A mediocre lager and an IPA with low IBU and Alcohols,... More

Went to Durango for The Follies of Snowdown Week, a weird, politically incorrect, often raunchy and bizarre mix of music, humor, obscenity and anti-establishment sentiment and perversions. In reality,it was hilarious, exciting and very entertaining. We often eat at Carvers on our visits because the food and service is excellent and very friendly. Their eggs Benedict and corn beef hash... More

Yes Siree Bob! Very good breakfasts here. With good coffee, attentive waitresses and great breakfasts. I personally enjoy the omelettes and biscuits with sausage. Very well done.

Stopped by for breakfast which was delicious. Lots of options in a nicely decorated atmosphere. Prices were good and we purchased souvenir mugs for just $6.00. The food was delicious as we tried egg based plates and pancakes. However, service staff seemed distracted with talking amongst themselves and let the service slip accordingly. I would return though...food was exceptional.

A good menu with many good choices that remind you of home cooking. Solid American food with some variations and great beer choices. The ambiance is quiet with a back patio that is pleasant. A favorite among locals and visitors alike. We liked the food and will be returning when in town.

The beer was cold and very good. The waiter recommended the Reuben sandwich and said it was the best in town and he was right. We sat at the window and received the best service possible and great food while watching the snow fall. Would highly recommend the restaurant.

We have travelled to a number of restaurants recently on our 8 week vacation and I have to say tonight's was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. I had the chicken stew in a bread roll and my partner had the chicken. Both meals were delicious and very tasty. The service was spot on,... More
