Sushitarian provides fresh, delicious traditional sushi and sashmi, along with other menu items, in a casual setting with friendly service.

Sushi was well made right before your eyes, chefs were friendly and courteous. We had hot Saki, which was delightful. Price was reasonable for a table of seven. A bit hard to get a table though, as the restaurant is small, but worth the wait

Cute, little restaurant but not enough food for the price. We felt the portion sizes were too small and the dishes did not come with rice which we felt they should have. The dinner entrees were expensive.

This restaurant has a nice selection, however, for the amount of food you get, its shockingly expensive. Their happy hour menu is tailored to fit what they charge i.e., If it's half price, you get half the amount on your plate.

We always get the miso soup for sure. The seaweed salad is also very good. There are a number of specials depending on when and what day you show up. The sushi has never let us down and we are getting familiar with the wait staff, who are all very good, and the place is very clean and affordable. What... More

I never would have anticipated finding a Sushi restaurant in downtown Durango, not to mention a great Sushi restaurant. These guys really know their stuff. The menu is quite diverse and the quality of the sushi and sushimi is as good as an sushi place I have visited including some in Tokyo and Seoul. The atmosphere is friendly and casual... More

We had already eaten, and were just walking around town when we found this place. But, for some reason, we went in anyway, and we loved it. Right off, a gentleman came to our table with hot towels to wipe our hands. Then, since it was happy hour, we were able to order great "vegetarian" sushi off the menu, and... More

We came on a Saturday evening, and while they were under staffed and seemingly overwhelmed the sushi chefs were friendly and the sushi good. Generous but not too large portions of fish for the nigiri sushi and neat, well-sized rolls. Sit at the sushi bar and the chefs will attend to you - fun to hear their banter back and... More

You probably don't think of Sushi when you think of Durango, CO but it was my college son's choice and it was fun dining experience with delicious food. Don't be surprised when you walk in and the chefs start yelling something at you then they say hello in English. We sat at the counter and enjoyed them them making all... More

They got the order wrong, food tasted fishy and flavorless, almost no salt on the edamame. The miso soup was not very good. The waitress brought back the credit card slip and it was charged double the actual bill. Fortunately, I caught the innocent mistake, but they really need to step up their game if they want to stick around.... More
