Oscar's had a great menu. I had the farmer's breakfast. The medium eggs were a little overcooked but I've had worse. The gravy on the biscuit was odd and I still haven't decided if I liked it or not. The sausage links we're very good....The service was very good. We had a 15 minute wait and got the table outside. Even though it was just overlooking the parking lot it was nice to take in the glorious weather. Good experience, just a little bland.More
Being locals we have eaten at Oscar’s more times than I can count. You will not be disappointed. The French Toast is prepared in a way you’ll never experience elsewhere. The model train that runs around the ceiling delights visitors of all ages.
This place is amazing. It doesn’t look like much from the outside as it is in a dingy strip mall. The waitresses were very friendly. The giant cinnamon roll was dangerously good. My husband and I split one and still didn’t eat the entire thing....The avocado toast and egg plate was generous with an entire haas avocado. It was delicious. My husband had the sausage plate and was pleasantly surprised to like all of the varieties. I highly recommend this restaurant. You should go before 8am as their is an influx of people around then.More
Great food, great staff, and a very diverse menu. Ate here 2x in 4 days, once for lunch, once for breakfast. Both were great!!!! Smother the Chicken Fried Steak in their Verde in stead of gravy. You will love it.
This unexpected little gem was one of our favorite meals of our entire trip! Service was awesome. Great ambiance, with a toy train constantly circling the cafe, and delicious food! My daughter had a pastrami sandwich special, and I had their chile verde based on...our server’s recommendation. Both were incredible! Best chile verde I have ever had. We also shared a slice of blueberry pie a la mode, which was really good and appeared to be homemade.More
Ask for Beth as your server! She’s the best!!! Super cute, retro, classic dinner food! We stopped in here on our road trip and LOVED it. Best service we have had in several states, great and efficient with Covid protocols and all while staying on...top of every table with a friendly attitude. If there’s a line/wait it’s worth it!More
Ate here on Friday after getting my Covid vaccine. I had the 2 biscuits and gravy, 2 scrambled eggs and hash browns! The biscuits and gravy were to die for. You could tell freshly made biscuits and gravy. My Sister has the tuna fish melt...sandwich and she said it was good!
So great food! Great price !More
We found this little place that has been family owned for 40 years serendipitously. The food was great. If you are looking for a good solid breakfast this is the place. They are doing their best to socially distance people in this small restaurant and...sanitize and clean carefully after each patron. We count ourselves lucky to have found this.More

So sorry your experience at Oscar's was not what you expected; like going to Del Frisco's, Morton's, and other top end places, sometimes things just don't mesh. Could have caught them on a bad day (although they were busy the last time I was there too), but I did not experience what you did. Hopefully, criticism will be registered and they make some changes. Good, bad,or indifferent, we all appreciate you writing and sharing the experience.
