Cute diner. We sat at the counter and enjoyed good vegetable beef soup. Husband had a really good chicken sandwich. Our fries were not hot, so waitress brought us some hot ones. Really good fries when hot. Overall, a good lunch stop with local flavor.

Had lunch when visiting from Pagosa Springs. Coffee was great and the chocolate cream pie was amazing. Had Durango beef melt yummy. Can't wait to eat the cinnamon rolls for breakfast tomorrow.

Looking for a restaurant that has at least one "Plant-based" option. TripAdvisor said Oscar's had "Vegan Options". Looked at the detailed menu and am scratching my head over what menu item is a Vegan Option? Maybe "water". If someone who is Plant-based has eaten here...successfully, I'd appreciate your thoughts. Looks like a great restaurant though.More

Restaurant can get very busy - but you can access an app and get added to the waiting list. They notify you when your table is ready. They have a counter if you are a single. Not many tables - so suggest getting on the...wait list. Breakfast was very good and the menu was large - so many choices. Would go again.More

This is obviously a crowd favorite. We were seated quickly after signing up on a tablet. The place is narrow and long. We were placed at the last table in the back by the restrooms which was a bit distracting with people coming in and...out of the restrooms. I ordered “homemade” biscuits and gravy. I obviously misunderstood. The biscuits were homemade. The gravy was not. My husband had the French toast and sausage and as is usual I wished I had what he he had. He gave me a few bites and the French toast was fabulous. I would return but not get the gravy and ask not to sit in the back.More

The food was AMAZING! You get so much for your money! Well worth it. They have the cutest little train around the top of the building that goes around the restaurant & my two year old was fascinated watching the train! We did have to...wait about 40 minutes to be seated…which just goes to show how busy & great their food is! I wish they had a bigger place w more seating so maybe it wouldn’t be such an issue. Overall, very good place for breakfast!More

We enjoyed our late breakfast in this place. We ordered a delicious oatmeal with blueberries and a omelette with bacon and hash browns. Took a little while until the food turned up but it was delicious once again. What a good and flavorful food we...had. Place is extremely busy, no free tables and waiting for a long time.More

Great breakfast enjoyed by all! Our group of 4 (3 adults and 1 child) were all able to find what we wanted to eat - fresh cooked and served quickly. Small place, but it was very busy! We did not have to wait, but as...we were leaving more were coming in. Hashbrowns were really good!More

Great little diner in Durango! Really good breakfast and the service was quick and friendly. This place is busy! There is usually a wait but it's worth it. Their pies looked amazing so I grabbed a piece of coconut cream to go. Great place!

Stopped for lunch while spending the day visiting Durango. The restaurant is a fairly small location tucked into a spot in the Town Plaza shopping center. Since the place is both small and rather popular, the seating fills up fast. When we arrived all of...the tables and stool at the counter were full as well as the couple outdoor dining tables. Fortunately, there was only about a 10-minute wait to be seated. Despite being busy, service was polite and friendly throughout our dining experience. The place is a diner and has a bit of that "greasy spoon" feel to it, but our food was well-prepared and tasty. I had their Cosmo burger and fries, and all of it was great. Portions are good sized, so we didn't have room for dessert. We did order one of their cinnamon rolls to go, though (which was an excellent treat that night).More

I love diners. This place is kind of a Disney version as opposed to the real thing (like the Durango Diner). I had hashbrowns smothered in gren chili with eggs on top. It was excellent. Service was good until the end. We finished our meals...and got the check. I wanted to chill with one more cup of coffee. Before the waitnress would acknowledge my request and top off the cup. This time, she did not say anything, but finally filled my cup while offering it to go. I coud understand this bum's rush if the tables were full, but they were not. Kind of put an unnecessary damper on the experience.More

Very good breakfast. Good service. Homemade hot sauce was good. But would have preferred Tobasco. My chicken fried steak and eggs was good the actually cooked the eggs over easy. He gad the corned beef hash and eggs. Corned beed was too salty. But overall...a really good restaurant. We will remember it when we come into town againMore

So sorry your experience at Oscar's was not what you expected; like going to Del Frisco's, Morton's, and other top end places, sometimes things just don't mesh. Could have caught them on a bad day (although they were busy... More
