Nothing exciting or very flavorful here. I was disappointed with the items we ordered as they were uninspired.

I am new to the neighborhood and this restaurant was walking distance to me and I am glad it is! The sushi tastes fresh and they have two full pages of very inventive rolls. There is a delicious one with lemon in it that I usually get. Their presentation is great too when we had a total of 5 rolls to share between two people. That might have been too much. We were so stuffed! This is definitely our go-to for sushi near the neighborhood.

You would think that a restaurant would treat long time, generous, returning customers well, but that is not the case with Sushi Harbor. We have eaten at the restaurant many, many times, and tipped the staff well each and every time, but will not be back. The last two times we have eaten here, we have waited FOREVER for our food, while diners who were seated well after we ordered received their meals. This first time it happened, two weeks ago, we figured it was a fluke. We ate there tonight, a Sunday evening, with our adult son, and with the restaurant 1/3 full, and watched other patrons who were seated after us, order, eat and leave the restaurant before our food was prepared. We ordered straightforward sushi, mackerel, fresh water eel and red snapper, nothing complicated. Obviously, Sushi Harbor doesn’t value our business, and that’s shame on them...

Maybe it's because we came in on a Sunday and the fish was old or something but neither the tuna nor the yellowtail was up to sushi standards. Perhaps this joint relies on people just eating rolls and not nigiri. Regardless, I doubt I'll be back any time soon.

Sushi Harbor is a local neighborhood Japanese Sushi restaurant just east of 8th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. New for us, it's been there for several years. It has great decor and a peaceful atmosphere. The presentation of the sushi is outstanding and rivals Sushi Den. Easier to get seated, without the crush of a lot of the other Sushi places. The Sushi chefs are low key, but are very good at creating sushi, especially rolls and presenting it beautifully. Good bar, with several good Saki choices. The staff is pleasant and low key. highly recommended for a quiet sushi meal, lunch or diner.

I have eaten here several times and have always found the service, food and atmosphere to be the type of place to recommend and return. However, yesterday at lunch, the attitude was quite different. We arrived at 12:35 and by 1:05, lunch had still not been brought out. When I mentioned that, and said that I had an appointment at 1:30, the manager/hostess/owner (?) became belligerent and showed me that the order that only been placed at 12:52 but if that's so, it's only because that's when the order had been actually taken. The fact is that we had been sitting there for 30 minutes without lunch and the waiter said that it would still be another 5 minutes. So, instead of being accommodating and even apologetic, we were treated brusquely and, in fact, told to leave. Never would have expected treatment like that for simply pointing out that, after 30 minutes, we had an appointment that we had to go and was hoping that our food could be brought out soon. Maybe they were having a bad day which is never an excuse for treating customers in such a rude manner. I'll never go back.

We had the Tuna Poke, Shimano, seaweed salad, coconut shrimp and sushi lover boat. Super fast and friendly service. Apps were really great. The boat was large and in charge. The sashimi was so fresh with huge pieces...tuna, salmon, yellowtail, white tuna and two rolls. Dinner for 3 less than $100. Total winner!!!

This is an excellent restaurant in a great neighborhood unfortunately located across the street from a large redevelopment area (former UC Health Science Center). I have always received excellent service here and excellent food. Parking is always easy. The staff are always very nice and accommodating.

We stopped in Denver to visit daughter and her family. We all like sushi, so decided to go to a sushi restaurant. It was a fun experience. The atmosphere was average. They had all you can eat for $29! We knew son-in-law would be able to eat all that he ordered. Daughter ordered quite a bit. The deal is though, if you don't eat it all, you have to pay back and owe full price on what you don't eat, and no one else can help you eat it. We ordered different rolls for us & the kids. The kids ordered soup and it was extremely large soup bowls! Everything was good. Daughter couldn't eat all her food, so the waitress did help her out a little and gave her a little discount on the pay back pricing. Girls had a good dessert. Good food & everyone had a fun time!

A friend of mine from Denver recommended this place and I was not disappointed. We were at the Denver Museum of Art and Science and needed a quick bit to eat. The atmosphere was okay, but the food great. At this moment, I can't remember what we ate, but had a variety and everything was fresh and delicious. Sorry I can't give more specific information.

I recently came in with a large party, all of whom ordered some form of sushi and other items along with. The waitress was all by herself and was absolutely sweet. She was very knowledgable! Definitely a great experience overall.

Sushi Harbor i s plain, even drab on the outside, but the inside is full of warm wood tones and natural light. There are lots of booths as well as tables with comfortable chairs. Our waiter was attentive but not obtrusive and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the menu. I had one of half a dozen Bento box offerings. Mine included tempura shrimp and a California roll. The tempura was light, crisp and fresh tasting. I enjoyed the California roll though I may have overwhelmed with wasabi and soy! It included a small side salad with a very nice peanut flavored dressing, and a generous bowl of miso soup. This is my first visit to Sushi Harbor, but it won't be my last. The pleasant ambience and good food and service are worth returning to enjoy again.
