We had a wonderful experience with our daughter and grandson while visiting from Tennessee. Our lunch and tea choices were excellent and the service was good also. We would recommend this establishment, for a unique, relaxing, tasty experience.

The House of Commons is a fabulous little tea house that incorporates the traditional tea house atmosphere in an accessible way for those not familiar and those who love a good afternoon tea. The spread for afternoon tea is impressive and plentiful. The tea selection is quite robust, and offers something for everyone. Ask the hostess for suggestions and you... More

When my friend said that we were going to have Tea, I honestly wasn't expecting the atmosphere we walked into. Where I live we don't have Tea Houses like this and I was delightfully surprised. It felt like I was having tea with friends in a small little shop across the pond. They offer a vast selection of wonderful teas!... More

Great for afternoon tea. They have an amazing selection of tea and really good scones. A cup of Scottish Breakfast tea and a blueberry scone made my day.

You can see evidence of the love put into this tea room by its owners all over the place. The decor, the teapots and cups, the placement of the tables, the cleanliness and the service all point to someone with perfection on their minds. You have a wide variety of choice of sandwiches and cakes, cookies and quiche and dozens... More

I brought my best friend here for the afternoon tea. This includes unlimited tea choices, tea sandwiches, scones, and petit fours. The place is casual and homey. The tea choices have something for everyone. The sandwiches were great, the scones good but the petit fours were not very good. It's worth the cost of you'd like to try a lot of tea but if... More

This is an excellent experience, if only because of the taste and style of the food. The tea experience includes as much tea as one can drink and a multi-tier tower of tea sandwiches, scones (with jam and clotted creme), and dessert. Everything is delectable but one wishes for just a few more sandwich options - everything was so tasty,... More

It was a quaint location for a group of young (and seasoned) women to celebrate. A wide and flavorful assortment of iced and hot teas were available. Tiered platters with finger sandwiches, scones, and petit fours were placed in front of us and there was a wide variety of flavored to please every taste. The staff was polite and accommodating.... House of Commons is by far my favorite place for tea in Denver. The location feels like a doll house and the food and tea is authentic and very tasty. You also leave feeling full which is big for me....there is nothing worse than spending $30 on tea and still being hungry. Homemade, quality ingredients along with a very cozy... More

We had a far better experience for tea here a year ago. We went this past week and were met with TERRIBLE service. We saw the waitress for the order, delivery of food and when we were finished. We waited 15 min just to get our bill. We just weren't taken care of in a way that is acceptable for... More
