On the first day of a trip that started at 1am, by 1130 I was hungry enough to eat the back end out of a rag doll. I also was in need of a stress relieving beverage to warm up and calm nerves from traveling...by air the first time since the world shut down. I FOUND MY PLACE! I was able to walk in and take a seat at the bar with no wait, although the place filled to capacity within 30 minutes of arrival. The staff (Carter at the bar) was friendly and welcoming as well as professionally attentive. I ordered the mother of grilled cheese made with multiple cheeses including warm Brie, and savored the pepper jelly (I think it was strawberry with peppers but I could bathe in it, it was sooooo good!). My drinks are simple but well made (bourbon and ginger ale in a tall glass, no garnish), but served with a smile. I will definitely be visiting again.More
We ate here after a tradeshow where we wanted to just wind down, have a nice meal, and a drink or two. We enjoyed our meal, service was great, and the cocktails were amazing. When the bartender ran out of supplies for a chocolate martini,...she sent over a drink she created which tasted like a melted strawberry milkshake and it was DELICIOUS! We were there for a couple of hours and had cocktails, appetizers, dinner, dessert, and more cocktails. We never felt rushed at all, which was really great and much appreciated.More
Watched the NFL Playoff game here with a lot of other people. Great service, nice drink menu and beer selection. The Fish and Chips were excellent. Plenty of TV's to catch all the action. Fun place to hang out and watch a game. We'll definitely...come back on our next trip to Denver.More
What a horrible experience. I’d give it zero stars if possible. We came on a Saturday night, and the entire place is closed down due to no willing staff, bar only open seating. The hostess makes you wait in line for 15 minutes, just to...NOT look you in the eye to tell you to seat yourself, and doesn’t give you a menu OR direction where to sit. Another 20 minutes goes by until You can flag down someone to give you water and a menu. Not to mention, we had to “bus” our own dirty table to sit down. Another 15 minutes for a drink and $14 fries for an appetizer. 30+ minutes after that for Kraft Mac and cheese with wet soggy bread crumbs on top. You have people on dates, families trying to enjoy, and drink unruly idiots all smashed into one small Corner of the restaurant. It’s a sh*t show. The manager is one pulse away from the grave. Two beers, fries and a shared plate = $100. Go ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE.More
My wife and I had some drinks here and a quick meal while in Denver. It is located right off 16th Street by the Pavilion Mall. Nice bar area and we would recommend
This tavern is a typical sports bar. Chicken fingers and Mac and Cheese were very good. Lots of beer choices. Multi tvs to watch games.
A cool place to visit. Large selection of beer. I did not eat here, so I don’t know how the food is. Some of the workers are great, others did not offer good service.
Friendly staff with a somewhat tense atmosphere. Food was disappointing. I ordered the garden pizza, unfortunately it was drenched in balsamic making it virtually inedible and soggy. The other pizzas were soggy and greasy too. They have daily offers but keep an eye on the...bill as these were not actioned until highlighted.More
Stopped by for a nightcap and a bunch of fries, (early evening after driving from the mid-west all day). Efficient bar tenders good fries; the could have been 'home made'. Stopped the next day (Sunday) for a quiet pizza brunch. The pizza was most excellent!
Couldn't even cook a hamburger, club sandwich was no better. You are better off at the Hard Rock for sure! We had a burger, 2 fish and chips and a club sandwich to eat along with some chese curds. A bottle of wine and 4...beers. $150. Save your $$More
They are surely 3 oz, but I don’t know if they’re filets. I ordered mine medium rare (shown in photos). The vegetables tasted of frozen ice bags and the French fries were soaking wet and soggy. Not saying I expect a 5-star filet for $25...- but I also don’t expect barely cooked frozen vegetables, yesterday’s french fries re-dropped and what appears to be a sirloin cut to look like two filets. It was so dry it had to be a sirloin cut or something cooked earlier. No buena. Won’t be ordering from here again. The raw garlic on top of the steaks was weird, too. Just raw garlic and Rosemary twigs thrown on top. Yuck.More
We sat at the bar for a couple drinks, but all the food people were ordering looked so good so we ate there. The pizza was great, and so was the Mac and cheese
Two blocks from our hotel on the 16th street mall we found Henry's Tavern. An American grill with a good beer selection, we often do a couple appetizers to share. We chose the deep fried calamari that also had some sliced jalapenos thrown in. There...was a slightly sweet red sauce and a white tartar sauce. The calamari was perfect with very light breading and just crisp enough. The jalapenos were done through and somehow not too hot. Both the sauces were awesome with our graham cracker porter. Our second choice was a Caesars salad with grilled salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the sliced chunks of cheese with the crisp lettuce and the dressing made it really great. I will look forward to trying other offering in the future because the staff treated us so well.More
Sat at the bar to wait to pickup carryout. The place had a nice vibe at 6 pm on a Wednesday. The host and bartenders were very friendly. Stayed a bit to enjoy the crowd at the bar & a beer. The walk back to...the hotel was 4 blocks but the area has a large homeless population, challenged with filth and just ordinary folks walking around. I would avoid the streets after dark.More
