We stopped here on a local food tour and only got a chance to sample their rice balls. Typically called Arancini, but they go by Suppli here (a similar dish is served in Rome). They had a red pepper flavor to them and they were...really delicious. I begged my husband to go back just to get more of them! If they represent their whole menu then everything else must be equally delicious!More

First of all, if you're over 40, there really is no reason to be eating in this part of town. That said, our food at Il Posto was very tasty, the drinks were well made, and the service was terrific. They have a lot of...staff, and they seem to work very well together. This restaurant seems very well managed. We had a reservation, and they sat us instantly. It was not an intimate dining experience – it's not that kind of space, but I guess we should have expected that from a really happening, busy part of town. My only negative was the restroom -- shared with the rowdy and popular bar next door, and it was full of mostly-drunk bros. Clash of vibes. I would totally recommend this for a treat dinner with friends as part of a whole night of being out. Maybe not for a date or an intimate celebration. Very good, but fits for a trendy night out.More

6th or 7th time in; Always excellent. Food, service, ambience, wine list! Great vibe, excellent patio. Who could ask for more!

Really nice decor. RiNo is nice for an afternoon / early evening stroll, then this is a good place to get a higher end dinner. Little expensive but the calamari and buccatini were both really good. Nice wine selection too

The house wine is a good value but the food is quite high priced for what you receive. I was there for a special occasion but it did not feel very special. The bar is interesting looking, but COVID precludes sitting at the bar, which...might have been more fun than the chilly outdoor table.More

Excellent food and service. Gnocchi light and fluffy, the Raviolo was beautifully done. Really enjoyed the Pulpa; it was sliced so thin and the flavors so delicate. Nice wine program and service was great.

Our dinner at Il Posto was the high point of our visit to Denver. We were privileged to meet owner Andreas and hostess Vanessa at the door, and to be seated at the cooking bar where we watched superb chefs Mario and Tony create their...dishes! The dinner we ordered was fabulous from appetizers to entrees to dessert, as were the drinks! Our server, Kole, was attentive and wonderfully knowledgeable about the food and wines-- really excellent! Thank you, everyone at Il Posto, we'll be back!More

Cool interior. Loved the booths. The brunette hostess was a doll. Friendly and accommodating. I was intrigued by the interesting offerings on the brunch menu. I chose the Casseruola and my friend chose the Italian style French toast. Our waiter could not have been worse....In fact, he was an absolute disgrace to the restaurant industry. Not one ounce of personality or grasp of customer service. Zachary should be working in a morgue, not around living people. Literally rolled his eyes as I asked for a decaf latte (excuse me but I have a heart condition that doesn’t allow me to drink caffeine), and was incapable of describing menu items in any detail whatsoever. Zachary gets an F. He needs to go. After serving us our dishes - mine topped with ICE COLD sunny side up eggs, Zachary never even came by to check in. Thankfully, the wonderful hostess whose name I wish I had gotten, came by and apologized for the ice cold eggs and remedied the situation immediately by getting a fresh set of hot eggs out to me pronto. She should get a gold star!! The food was tasty for sure. The hostess was awesome! The “waiter” Zachary should be banned from ever waiting tables again.More

The restaurant and service is lovely. However, my being a full-blooded Italian having gone to Italy several times, I find the food too gourmet, not really representing the cuisine as best it can.

I had always wanted to try this place out, I went there the other night with clients. I found it to be just average. It is NOT a typical Italian place at all. In fact quite the contrary. Nothing about it rang about the Italian...food I sought and am used to. I am open to new foods and new ways of presenting food when they work, this place just didn't cut it. Rarely, also can I not find anything on the menu which grabs me, but at this place this was a struggle. I opted for the baked chicken which was passable. It was a chicken roasted without skin it seemed on the top of a mound of mashed potatoes with some dark gravy. It was ok but needed salt. The calamari starter was interesting and was more like stuffed calamari than traditional fried calamari. Dessert was passable. For three of us without drinks $110. Not sure I can recommend or that I would go back. A cool setting for sure. Service was good but not quite what I would like or expect from an upscale place. Just not my cup of tea.More

Upscale Casual. The folks in this restaurant were certainly casual but the atmosphere was chic, trendy and filled with attractive folks. We enjoyed the people watching.
