We were in Denver for my daughters birthday. The food and place were good. We ordered sushi and everything was delicious.

This was a pick up order. Most of it was done online. They got the order wrong- gave me shrimp tempura roll rather than shrimp tempura lunch box (bento box). The other three orders were correct, and their bento boxes were very nice. (My roll...was too but I was bummed not getting what I ordered.) Miso soup and salad were good. Everything tasted good and was a good value for the lunch boxes.More

I order online and had the Thai Basil Chicken. When I order That, more often than not I expect it to be spicy on different levels. I should have been suspicious when the website did not ask be the degree of spicy. Anyway, picked up...my order and found it to be bland. No spice at all, and not much flavor. Very disappointed. I guess next time I order from here I will stick to sushi, that seems to be more their specialty.More

We are visiting Denver with our two grandsons and met friends at Hasu Sushi (one of our friends' favorite restaurants). Our grandsons were very pleased with their sushi and sashimi choices; my wife thought her sushi was just average; my chicken teriyaki was below average....So, a mixed experience!More

I booked a reservation here for Valentines Day with my boyfriend and it could not have been worse. We waited for 10-15 minutes before receiving water and placed our order with our waitress. We waited and waited while tables that came in after us were...seated and received food. After waiting for an hour without so much as an appetizer we decided to leave. When we confronted the waitstaff about the terrible service they claimed to have “lost the order” but didn’t even notice that we had been waiting. We will not be going back and I wouldn’t recommend it!More

Great, fresh fish. We went for the thinly sliced tuna with jalapenos, seaweed salad, and chef's choice sushimi plate. All fresh, all delicious. Recommended.

This is one of very few affordable Cherry Creek restaurants and they have the best sushi. I do take out at least once a week as my office is very near by. They have lunch offerings that are incredible. A sushi box with two rolls...of your choice, miso soup, salad for $10.00. Have also eaten in their restaurant for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They have free parking behind the restaurant, a Cherry Creek plus! Very nice staff. My favorite is the shrimp tempura roll - DELISH!More

We stopped in for lunch, based on the reviews, and we weren’t disappointed. The sushi quality was excellent and the portions substantial, especially at lunchtime prices. Service was friendly, quick and efficient. We have already recommended this restaurant to friends, an we just ate here...this afternoon. A nice find.More

The $10 two sushi roll, soup, and salad lunch was perfectly sized, fresh, and delicious. In addition, there is a parking lot, a huge plus for Cherry Creek! There are other equally reasonable lunch choices that also look good. Enjoy Hasu! The prices are more...like other sushi places for dinner. Lunch was Cheap Eats!More

Stopped by this place for lunch on a business trip. I got three rolls lunch and a soup and salad. Overall a decent price for what you got and the rolls were fresh and presented well. For lunch it was good to get there and...was craving some rolls too. What stood out to me was the service. The waitress was very understanding and attentive and so it made for a pleasant experience. I enjoyed it. Recommend for a lunch if you are looking for some Japanese food it's a good option.More

If I had written this review the first two times I'd gone to Hasu, about 8 months ago, I would have given them 5 stars. The staff were friendly, the food delicious, and the restaurant was clean and upscale, but relaxed. We tried to make...this place our go-to sushi place in lieu of another restaurant downtown. Unfortunately, since going to Hasu several more times, my opinion of them has changed. The waitress we had our first couple of visits is no longer there (or at least we no longer see her when we go in), and the ones who've replaced her are cold and slow. There are typically no more than 3 tables (including ourselves) full in the restaurant, and yet the sushi chefs take 25-30 minutes to get the food out. Even then, the food comes out sub-par to how it used to be, and we usually order the same few items. Often, the rolls fall apart when we try to pick them up with our chopsticks, and the sweet potato in the sweet potato roll is usually undercooked. Last time we were there, there was barely any eel in the eel avocado (unagi maki) roll. In addition, while we find him funny, the owner, who is usually there and also serves, can be a bit overbearing. We've had several awkward conversations with him (including one where he asked us how many bathrooms were in our apartment), which lasted too long and impeded us eating our food while it was the most fresh. Again, he's perfectly friendly and welcoming, I just prefer a dining experience that is a little more intimate with the guests I choose to bring. All in all, it's not a bad place to grab a bite. Just not somewhere I think I'll be going out of my way to visit from now on.More

Loved the restaurant: 1) Super convenient in Cherry Creek 2) Great tempura, gyoza and sushi. 3) Not expensive...if you think the cost here is high, go to Burger King 4) All help was fab...Simon, was it Beth? Everyone super nice. Again. Loved the place.

The rolls were delicious and fresh and there was no shortage of options! We went during lunch on Sunday and it wasn't too busy and nice and quiet. I enjoyed the free saki with my check in, thanks guys!!!! For the size and freshness, the...prices were great and service was superb. So why only four stars? At the end of the meal when we went to pay, we paid with our credit card and the waiter went into an odd and unsolicited info session on opening a Chase card at the bank. We used a Chase card to pay but it went on for a few minutes about the benefits and credit level etc... He mentioned that we may even be approved for a $500 credit limit!!! Ok.... um, the card we just used has like a $20k or so limit. I think we are good but thanks for the super awkward credit card sale.More
