We came here with a group of friends for some drinks last Friday. One of the couples was celebrating a new baby and another soon to be moving to the east coast. They have a good size drink and happy hour menu. One problem I did have was with the beer I ordered, an IPA. IPAs are known for drinking... More

Visiting our son in Denver he took us here for their happy hour specials for our late lunch. Had a great burger and there's a superior selection of beers available. Fun dinning.

We stopped here for lunch after arriving in Denver. We only had the green chili soup and a salad but were very disappointed as this is a Diners, Drive in's and Dives recommended Diner. The soup was bland at best and the salad was good sized but the dressing that was supposed to be garlic vinegarette tasted like just oil,... More

We had such a tasty brunch at this hep old school spot. Open-air on a warm day. Delicious cocktails, hearty diner food and friendly service! We loved the monkey break and fun atmosphere!

Went for lunch and it was fantastic. Best lunch I had in Colorado. Sevice was great and served was so friendly and helpful with recommendations. Food was delicious and the people at the next tables dishes looked great too. Menu was eclectic and interesting. The atmosphere was upbeat. Food was served was served quickly and was presented well.

Really enjoyed the fresh food here. Shrimp and grits tasty but a little spice. Crab cakes delicious. My husband had the chilaquiles much more spice. Great atmosphere nice portions.

I was in Denver for a meeting and one of my colleagues Stueben's was dinner and recommended the lobster roll. I was dubious--a lobster roll in Denver? Well, my colleague was right on. It was a classic lobster roll with wonderful chunks of lobster. The place isn't fancy, but the food seems to be classic comfort food. One colleague had... More

The service was good and the atmosphere was great. The food was just OK for me. Out of our 3 meals, one was AMAZING, and two were just ok. I wouldn't be itching to go back with how many restaurants there are in Denver, but it was a good experience and I did enjoy it.

The Reuben was awesome and boyfriend loved his food as well. Was a bit pricey as my samdwhich alone was $12 and fries were separate. But a cute little place no less.

What are your first three food and drink related visits when you head to your hometown? What do you order? Fried Clams from Kelly's? Supreme Sauce from Raynor's? A slice from Joe's? A take out order of a green-chili cheeseburger from The Owl Cafe? Maybe it's that hot dog from Pink's or those sticky ribs from Thelma's. Or do you head home for a bowl of Mom's chicken soup and brisket? We return to these classic spots for the comfort, the subtly unique flavor, the consistency, the familiarity, and the memories of both the food and the experience. Only one place can set the standard for certain foods. Lovers of food have their own "greatest hits collection." We yearn for that blissful moment that uses the powers of food, smell, sight, taste, and memory to take us to a happy place; that after school hangout, the corner deli, the pizza place and sometimes even Mom's kitchen. Steuben's is named after a restaurant in Boston that my Great Uncles, Max and Joe, opened in 1945. Steuben's became a famous Boston restaurant, nightclub, and hotspot from the 1940's to the 1960's on Boylston Street. The Vienna Room, The Cave, and The Blue Room were all part of the Steuben's space and hosted Big Band, Jazz, and Swing groups with The Rat Pack, Proms and Sweet Sixteens and more. In its prime, Steuben's was the center of the Boston dining and nightlife scene. Steuben's, Denver, is a restaurant that respects the history of its name and the core ingredients of the American Regional classics we have attempted to recreate. These dishes are America's cuisine and American's interpretations of the dishes of our diverse cultural heritage. We have enjoyed the endless debates, opinions, stories, research, consultations and food memories that have led us to the opening version of the Steuben's menu. Eat at Steuben's. Take-Out from Steuben's. Drink at Steuben's. Feel at home, in Denver, at Steuben's.
