Some friends brought us here during our Denver visit. It has a diner vibe with high quality comfort food. My husband enjoyed the Nashville hot chicken. I opted for a chimichurri steak and was a little disappointed I hadn't ordered the chicken. The drinks were great as well, and we finished off our meal with a coconut cream cake. We... More

This place has a modern sort of diner American feel. Not really a diner but it sort of felt that way. They did a great job with our large group, the one negative was the salt level!!! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy well seasoned food, but this was a little heavy handed for sure. Huge portions as well, we... More

Steuben's has the look of a comfortable retro diner, but the mechanics are modern & super-charged. The menu is full of comfort food favourites just slightly tweaked to appeal more to modern palettes. We ate here four times during our trip. This is highly unusual as I'm trying to cram in as many different restaurants as possible - usually. However,... More

We arrived with a group of 5 for brunch and were immediately seated. We selected the heated outside patio at first and then upon changing our minds requested to be seating in the main dining area. This was accomplished quickly and to our satisfaction. The menu selection was targeted to breakfast and had several interesting dishes. We each had a... More

Got there at 5pm on a Sat night and had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table. Kids meal comes with several main options, a potato type or veggie side, carrots and cucumber slices, fresh fruit, a drink and soft serve ice cream. Husband and I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli and fried chicken with... More

My husband and I ordered the ribs and Nashville hot chicken. Our meals were fabulous and came in a timely manner. The best part of our visit was by far the deep fried apple pie for dessert. It is served with homemade vanilla ice cream and Frosted Flakes. Yes, Frosted Flakes! It is amazing!

Each time I am in Denver, I stop at Steuben's. I usually order the lobster roll, which I did today. And it is always great! Though instead of fries, I got the brussel sprouts as my side! Oh, my gosh! Awesome! Cooked perfectly and enough to share. My son-in-law ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes - I may get... More

Steuben's has the ultimate comfort food menu: mac and cheese, burgers, crab cakes, shrimp and grits. All of it is tasty and cooked just right. Good for lunch, dinner or brunch. Casual, classy vibe. Have been back many times and will definitely eat there again.

Food are service were very good. My wife had the trout which she really liked. I had the special, which was the pork sandwich, also very good. Staff is just super friendly. Nice place to eat at good prices.

Had brunch here on a Saturday and was impressed with the plate portion. Very good. Service was kind of lousy but I think that's more on the individual server than the place itself. Worth a visit (not worth an hour wait).

Thank Eric S

What are your first three food and drink related visits when you head to your hometown? What do you order? Fried Clams from Kelly's? Supreme Sauce from Raynor's? A slice from Joe's? A take out order of a green-chili cheeseburger from The Owl Cafe? Maybe it's that hot dog from Pink's or those sticky ribs from Thelma's. Or do you head home for a bowl of Mom's chicken soup and brisket? We return to these classic spots for the comfort, the subtly unique flavor, the consistency, the familiarity, and the memories of both the food and the experience. Only one place can set the standard for certain foods. Lovers of food have their own "greatest hits collection." We yearn for that blissful moment that uses the powers of food, smell, sight, taste, and memory to take us to a happy place; that after school hangout, the corner deli, the pizza place and sometimes even Mom's kitchen. Steuben's is named after a restaurant in Boston that my Great Uncles, Max and Joe, opened in 1945. Steuben's became a famous Boston restaurant, nightclub, and hotspot from the 1940's to the 1960's on Boylston Street. The Vienna Room, The Cave, and The Blue Room were all part of the Steuben's space and hosted Big Band, Jazz, and Swing groups with The Rat Pack, Proms and Sweet Sixteens and more. In its prime, Steuben's was the center of the Boston dining and nightlife scene. Steuben's, Denver, is a restaurant that respects the history of its name and the core ingredients of the American Regional classics we have attempted to recreate. These dishes are America's cuisine and American's interpretations of the dishes of our diverse cultural heritage. We have enjoyed the endless debates, opinions, stories, research, consultations and food memories that have led us to the opening version of the Steuben's menu. Eat at Steuben's. Take-Out from Steuben's. Drink at Steuben's. Feel at home, in Denver, at Steuben's.
