I will preface this by saying we came here only because tickets for the aquarium were sold out for the day. I had very low expectations for the food and service but thought my kids would enjoy the atmosphere. Service was as expected...slow and not very attentive. Food was actually better than I had expected, although severely overpriced. The views of the fish tanks were great from pretty much any table. We were seated in a booth but it faced the fish tanks so we could all watch the fish as we ate. If you don't love people on top of you while you eat I suggest requesting a booth or table not directly in front of the tanks. Overall, an a-okay meal. Would I return? Definitely not. Would I come here without kids? Um...now way. If you're able to get tickets to the aquarium there is really no reason to eat in here.

cute little thematic restaurant. we ordered a berry cocktail and it wasn't the tastiest, but that's neither here nor there. the food was good and the price was adequate, although it's clear the restaurant is a little lacking in waiters.

We had to make a reservation and we did so online. We were able to sit in the Water Room and were surrounded by beautiful fish. The food was decent. I ordered pasta and my daughter ordered pasta with shrimp. It was really quiet considering our reservation was on a Saturday night. Server was friendly and we received our food quickly. It was a great environment.

We we’re pretty excited to take our daughter to have dinner and watch the mermaid show. When I Called to make a reservation to ensure we would get a good table for mermaid viewing, the hostess on the phone was extremely unfriendly. When we arrived, it was clear that the hostess was the same women I had spoken to in the phone. She wouldn’t look at me, was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed in general to be working. When I told her we had a reservation, her response was that she had to see if they had a table open.. she then sat us in the worst table in the restaurant- basically in the middle of the walkway directly in front of the kitchen. We were not able to see the mermaid show. I’m not exactly sure what the point of making a reservation was, but I was disappointed right off the bat. Our server was friendly and got our meal out promptly. Food was mediocre. Very basic, not terrible but nothing to write home about. When we were finished we sat with dirty plates for an inexcusable amount of time. Servers, bussers, hostesses, and managers all continued to walk by, looking at our dirty table and choosing to leave the plates. We ordered a dessert to share, and our server obviously forgot to put it in. He came by 15 minutes later and said “oh let me go push that through.” ... 10 minutes later it arrived.
While the overall experience was subpar, the real issues that I have with the restaurant is the use of plastic straws and styrofoam containers. In my opinion, neither of these should be in use anymore, especially at an aquarium. We are there to learn of the amazing wonders of the earth and the restaurant on property can’t even do its part to try to be sustainably conscious. I will never support this establishment or any Landry’s establishment again, knowing that they do not care to do their part in taking care of the planet. I hope they make strides to change such practices here and in all

Terrible place! ! $65 for cold greasy food. My da and I were the third set of people in the restaurant but it took nearly 30 mins to get out food. I ordered cheese fettuccine with chicken, food was cold …pasta swimming in grease, don’t know why there was grease … the chicken was grilled. Cheese sticks with marinara sauce was disgusting!!! Marinara sauce was ice cold!!!!! Don’t waste your time or money going to that place!!

First, I want to say the aquarium itself was great our 18 month old loved it. Now, the restaurant was terrible. It took almost 20-minutes for the waitress to greet us and get drink orders (which turned into food orders as well). When the food did come out most of it was already cold, and they forgot two of the kids’ meals!
The waitress only stopped by again to drop off the check which was almost $200 for 4 adults and 3 children. The fish & chips was soggy.
Would not recommend staying for the restaurant after visiting the aquarium.

Half our food came out luke warm at best. (It took 45 minutes and they were not busy). Crispy fish was ok. Fries cold. Shrimp had no flavor. Chicken Alfredo was tasteless. My 7 year old daughter got the kids pizza and wouldn’t eat it. She said it tasted like cardboard. When we went up to the hostess and asked how long the wait was she told me an hour and 45 mins unless I had a reservation. As I was leaving a couple told me they were told the same thing and went online and made the reservation and was seated in 15 mins. At 2:18 I went online and made the reservation for 2:30. We were seated at 2:28??!!! Check was over $100 for 3 adults and one child. My wife had a salad. We expected at least average food quality for that kind of money. Not well below average food!!!! Worst experience ever at a Landry restaurant.

We made a reservation but upon arriving waited an additional 15-18 minutes before seated.
My young one ordered burger sliders that were mediocre at best but he was happy - a little pricey IMHO.
I ordered the Steak & Shrimp Chimichurri. The shrimp was fine 4 or 5 pieces of shrimp and about an 8 ounce cut of steak that just tasted awful. I asked for A-1 steak sauce but that didn't help at all. The manager took $20 off the bill for the poor gristle of a steak but didn't offer anything else. The draft beer was $12 for roughly 16 ounces. Ok it's a restaurant with a view but literally a 1 minute walk around the corner and that same glass of beer cost me $4 and change!

Visited on a Sunday in March. We had a reservation but it wasn't necessary.
Nice aquarium and fish swimming around.
Food wasn't to our taste - we ate shrimp appetizer, Croc taco and pasta kids meal. There was no taste at all,dry and falling apart. Kids meal was a joke- a handful of pasta on the same plate with fruits all warm lol.
Beer was good and you get a beer mug 🍺.
Service was also good but there is an issue with menus - look at the photo and count how many menus for an adult and a child.

Warning!!!! Be Prepared to Have Fun!!!!!
What an amazing dining experience. Our server who I forgot his name was beyond helpful and most importantly so much fun! After being seated and watching the fish flounder around in the aquarium for a little while our server came over and pointed out a newly released cod sperm sac!!!! When he mentioned cod was on the menu as well I was ready to order! I’ll have the cod piece and fries! The fish was so fresh you’d of thought it was straight out of the aquarium! Also the castaway combo was a great way to start things off but I don’t know how a castaway could realistically make a quesadilla. That is a bit far fetched if you ask me. Aquarium is a bit pricey if you ask me. How bout a few more clams for a few less clams if you get my drift! No pun intended.

Took 45 minutes to get our food, it was also sitting under a heat lamp, how do I know this? My Cole slaw was hot and so was the tater sauce. The bowls were hot. I asked the manager to fix them. Waste of good money we could of used somewhere else.

The food was bland an over cooked.
Drinks were watered down.
The amount of butter on my plate of Alfredo ridiculous , chicken breast was dry. The best part was the oyster crackers.
Way over priced for the quality.

Beautiful restaurant - amazing decorations and huge fish take on one wall. Great menu, wonderful service! I had the vegetarian pasta and was also brought a selection of hot rolls with butter. Very good!

Dinner with our young granddaughter and had a great experience! Food was very good and service even better. We sat in a booth with lots of starfish and coral decorations. Crayons and kids menu a nice touch. The fish in the aquarium wall nice to see. I had a vegetable pasta dish that was better than most Italian Restaurants. My husband had mahi mahi and shrimp and said delicious. Hard to choose dessert to share as they all looked good. Aquarium opened late, so enjoyed walking/viewing after dinner.

My wife and I stopped in and decided to make late lunch reservations, 2pm. We shared the restaurant with 3 other tables and were spaced well away from each other. Our server, sorry I can't remember your name, was great. She brought our drinks and food promptly and was very pleasant to talk to.
Food was very good, drinks were even better.
Overall a great way to relax and recharge after a day of sightseeing.
