We had business across the street at the Mexican Consulate and decided to pop in for lunch. The tortas were delicious !!! I got the Norteña and my husband got the Cubana. They were delicious and huge. (We could have shared one but instead, saved half of each for dinner). We went based on the reviews and weren't disappointed. There were lots of locals there....good sign. (Watch the grilled jalapenos though.....they were smoking hot !!!)

I have given a previous review and it is still true! I continue to come here EVERY TIME I come back to Denver (3-4 times a year) and it is ALWAYS so delicious. My favorite the norteña with everything. If you get a chance stop by.

Soft bread sandwiches with awesome meats and fixins. Try the barbacoa tortas. Tender, comes with avocado and Chipotle sauce. Great prices. Highly recommended.

The absolute best tortas I have ever had! This authentic Mexican torta shop does not disappoint. I tried 3 of the tortas and the flan. All of it was top notch. It is a small place so seating is limited, but they do take call in / to-go orders! Sandwiches tried: Milanesa de Pollo, Nortena, and Gema. All of these were excellent. The best tortas I have ever had!

I have been eating tortas for 37 years and the first one I had at a little drive through shack in Imperial Beach California set the bar. I have eaten tortas every where I can since then. This is the first time though that I am brought back to my first one. Wow this torta is amazing. The bread is marvelous. Grilled with a slight crunch. We had the asada with everything, norteña with everything and a michoacana with everything. The meat was tender and very well seasoned in all the sandwiches and the everything added was amazing. The prices were great also. If you are wanting a torta, even if you don't want one I would highly suggest you go get one!!! Until we return to Denver I will dream about these for sure!!!

This came up on the gps, so we checked TripAdvisor to see the reviews. Based on them, we stopped for lunch. What a great decision! OK, this place is lot much on the outside at all, and the inside is small, but wow...... talk about good food! If you are in Denver, don't miss this place.

We stumbled upon this place and loved the chorizo sandwich. It's right past Cherry Creek shopping area. We love to have lunch here before we head out for the day. Great place! Very authentic.

My friends and I were visiting and on our way from the airport and referenced (yelp) for a place to eat. My buddy who's mexican saw this place pop up and we figured we'd stop and check it out. Talk about a hole in the wall gold mine! At first it was intimidating because everyone in there was mexican and my spanish isn't the best so I was nervous to get to the menu part BUT alas, there's the english translation for you!! I got the asada torta (DROOL!) and it was AMAZING! They cook everything to order - even the meat you're ordering for your dish. Easily the best torta I've ever had. I would definitely revisit this place the next time I'm passing through. Also, great value! :)

As a San Diego native who has spent years in Mexico, my wife called eating here "an emotional experience." She also called it "bomb," "incredible," and a handful of other superlatives she does not bestow lightly. She had a Torta Suiza, by the way. I had never tried a torta before this but I am now officially a fan. For the uninitiated, a torta is a sort of Mexican sandwich. It's quite different than an Italian sub or traditional American sandwich, burger, etc. I was very impressed by the quality of the bread and the way the bread, meat, Mexican cheese, and toppings complimented each other. I got the Torta Nortena. Between these two, the Torta Suiza was probably our favorite but both were excellent. We also got an order of fries and an horchata. The fries had an extraordinary texture and freshness to them. They still tasted great even after they had cooled. The horchata was easily the best we've had in Colorado, and every bit as good as the horchata we're accustomed to getting in San Diego. This food is a great value, it's ready fairly quickly, and the restaurant is very clean. We were quite impressed and will be back soon!!

Great food. Good price. Fast and nice service. These guys are working hard to create some delicious sandwiches with authentic ingredients. And their fresh juices were tasty!

Went based on Yelp accolades and must say it was quite tasty. Feel really full, but delicious. Chipotle sauce is spicy, ordered on the side. Liked the barbacoa and al pastor. Will go back. Less greasy than Torta Grill, but still good.

The parking lot is a challenge, but the food is SO worth it! The menu is filled with interesting combinations, and it is hard to decide. So you'll just have to visit often.
