This place had an awesome atmosphere. It reminds me of an old fashioned diner. The menu has so many pages with so many different choices (they serve breakfast all day)! I highly recommend this place!

Unique diner with a atmosphere that draws you in and transports you to another era. Staff is friendly. Food is delicious. I've been here a few times and ordered the smothered burritos. Have never disappionted! The menu is EXTENSIVE so much variety! Very good restaurant!

We've never been to the Curtis Street store, which has been around forever, but we visit Sam's on Havana and in Glendale frequently. Service is always good and very friendly. The food, of course, is terrific. The menu is several pages, so plan to spend some time reading it. If you cannot find anything you like, you are probably hard... More

I've been going to Sam's for years. I love it! Usually a little wait, but worth it. Great comfort food. Convenient to the theater district as well.

Lots of food and totally worth the wait! We were looking for a place within walking distance of the convention center for breakfast, my dad walked over to one of the security officers and he directed us to Sam's No. 3. We were in for a surprise! The place was packed, we waited about 25 minutes for a table and... More

Great selection of different meals. You can find any kind of food. I particularly love the waffles with strawberry sauce for any time of day. Reasonable prices and tons of food.

Excellent Friendly Fast Service. (Robyn took care of us during this visit). Breakfast was fresh hot and scrumptious. If you are getting a breakfast burrito it's best to share as they are very large. Menu has something for everyone with a multitude of selections to choose from. It's listed as a top rated "Diners Drive-ins and Dives" destination by Guy... More

Breakfasts was very good. Lots of food, we only ate about half. Great value and the wait staff was awesome. Wish they opened earlier for breakfast on the weekend.

Super generous portions of GOOD food at reasonable prices. The wait staff are all good, and many of them make you feel like the most important (or only) person in the place. Not much more to be said, it's all great!

We came here for a late Saturday morning breakfast and the place was packed with a long waiting list. We were seated after 20 minutes and the wait was well worth it. The menu is huge, the food is fantastic, the portions very large, the prices are moderate and the service is perfect. Cannot wait to return.

Sam’s No. 3™ was the third of five Coney Islands restaurants opened by Sam Armatas during the 1920′s. The original location was at 1527 Curtis Street in the heart of downtown Denver. On Sept. 28th, 1998, Sam’s son, Spero, with his grandsons Sam, Alex, and Patrick, re-established his most famous of the Coney Islands restaurants, Sam’s No. 3™. In honor of the age old tradition, they made a promise to each other to continue to provide excellent quality of food and embrace the inviting, warm atmosphere started by “Mr. Sam” more than 75 years ago!In April 2011, our little kitchen was featured on Food Networks "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". We were selected because so many local fans had written. A must-stop on any trip to Denver.
