Sams is great I go there all the time. I love across the street so it's convenient all the servers are friendly and the food is good.

This place is busy busy even on a Friday morning. Breakfast French toast is yummy but bacon over cooked. Great atmosphere with lots to look and booth and counter seats. Serves breakfast and lunch and is reasonably priced.

My friends and I were on our way to a burger place in downtown Denver and found this cute looking diner in the corner instead. We went inside and started looking at the menu. Little did we know they were on Diners, Drive in and Dives. They had a big menu and variety of different foods to choose from. From... More

A diner with wonderful comfort food. I had a hot turkey sandwich that was delicious, and as a special treat, a rootbeer freeze. To die for! Also, very reasonable prices for such generous portions.

If you want a really big breakfast, this is the place to go. My husband's breakfast (about $15) was so big that he had to skip lunch that day. They have unique menu items with a Mexican flare. You can get great early breakfast specials on weekdays till 10 am. I got eggs, toasts and home fries for about $3... More

Enjoyed lunch here on a recent Sunday. The place was packed so we had about a 30 minute wait. The menu is huge. Breakfast served all day. American and Mexican as well. Everyone in our group loved their meals, and there was a ton of food. The fried were especially delicious.

Came here due to the high rating on trip advisor. It's an old school diner located near the Colorado Convention Center. My food was great and the portions were generous. If you're looking for standard food without the frills this place is it.

Had the pleasure of eating here 3 times while attending Mecum Auction in July. Great menu options, exceptional service & ample portions. We enjoyed hot turkey sandwiches w/luscious mashed potatoes, burritos smothered in green chile, BBBBBLT's (Yes, that is right.....5 pieces of bacon!!!) We never had room for dessert after our meals, soooo made it a point to return just... More

Description
Sam’s No. 3™ was the third of five Coney Islands restaurants opened by Sam Armatas during the 1920′s. The original location was at 1527 Curtis Street in the heart of downtown Denver. On Sept. 28th, 1998, Sam’s son, Spero, with his grandsons Sam, Alex, and Patrick, re-established his most famous of the Coney Islands restaurants, Sam’s No. 3™. In honor of the age old tradition, they made a promise to each other to continue to provide excellent quality of food and embrace the inviting, warm atmosphere started by “Mr. Sam” more than 75 years ago!In April 2011, our little kitchen was featured on Food Networks "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". We were selected because so many local fans had written. A must-stop on any trip to Denver.
