Menu says it all

Great place for a simple meal. Portions are big and made to order so they are hot and fresh. Staff is friendly as well.

Fish, scallops, & shrimp combo

Had the combo which is 1 large piece of fish, 3 nice sized shrimp, 4 scallops, chips and the always tasty extra fried crispy bits in the bottom. Fish was nice and flaky and about 6-7 inches long. Shrimp was butterflied with tails removed so you can eat the whole thing. Scallops were about the size of a quarter. A little pricey at $18 but it was all quite tasty. Even had Mello Yello bottles in the fridge which is a huge plus for me as my favorite Coke product that is really hard to find here in Colorado.

The fish and chips are good but way over priced. It is $14 for two pieces of fish and fries. Small, old restaurant.

We eat at Yorkshire often. My husband went in and placed an order and brought it home for dinner. When we got the food home, the fries were old and stale. That’s part of the enjoyment of the “Fish and Chip meal!” When I pay $50 plus for a meal I would expect everything to be fresh. I also called them and let them know how I felt about it.

My husband loves the fish and I always get the shrimp. Its a small restaurant with fast service and crispy food. Definitely worth a trip!

Best Fish-N-Chips Around

Been awhile since I was in the area, but brought the family in for a quick dinner and I still think this place has the best fish-n-chips in the area, without doubt. A little pricey, but worth it in my opinion. Will be back for sure!

Authentic smell - and that matters a lot

We are a bit "fish and chip snobby" and remember our childhood fish and chip shops from the UK. Therefore, we judge first on the smell s you enter. This place has it right. Second we hope that the establishment keeps the "crispy bits" - this place does and gives them to you with you chips. Fish was great, chips good and thick, malt vinegar authentic and beverage choice decent. We will return whenever we need the F&C supper in future.

I reviewed this place in 2012 and recently met a friend for lunch there because it was close to a place we needed to be. The quality of the food was OK. That is, the fish seemed to be of good quality but, as before, I couldn't find any flavor in either the fish or the chips. As before, even the tartar sauce had no flavor and the malt vinegar was too mild to make much of a difference. My companion thought her fish & chips were some of the best she's eaten so . . . I do think they may have upgraded the quality of their napkins.

This is the best fish and chips hands down!!! Kevin the owner has been frying up the world s best fish for years now. This place is small and isn't your big chain restaurant as ours the one and only. Mom and pop shop which makes this wonderful establishment the place it is. Fried cod from Iceland, shrimp from gulf of Mexico, scallops from nova Scotia and let me tell you the fried oyster s are amazing. Huge i mean enormous oysters. And if your lucky like I've been a couple times you might even find a pearl in the oyster. Don't let the prices depot you as they are a bit steep the freshness and the quality of the fish is to die for. Two huge pieces or should i say slabs of cod on a bed of fries with a bit of salt and a lot of malt vinegar!!!! To die for

For being a primarily American family, the way the fish is coomed and the 'crispies' are fantastic. Clean restrooms, friendly staff, and the owner gave me a short history of his family and the way the restaurant started. If I lived closer, I would be here all the time.

This small mom& pop restaurant is wonderful!! The best fish &. Chips ever; very authentic, non-greasy, flaky and wonderful. Stop in for a great evening meal. The Best; you won't be disappointed!!

The place is small and nothing fancy. It's a little pricey for what you get (in my opinion - I got a 1/2 order of F&C and the guy got a full order), but the service was fast and friendly. And most importantly, the fish n' chips were super yummy. 'Nuff said.

The atmosphere is not fancy, actually reminds me of a fish and chips Pub n London. The Smrmp, Otsrers, and fish are the freshest tasting I've had n Denver.

Good food, large portions, fast service ( counter), clean tables and decent restrooms (no baby changing table). Prices aren't bad for the amount of food, which is freshly fried as well. Definitely will return!
