Don't let the look of the place fool you. It doesn't look like much, but this place has great food! It's a small place, but not usually crowded. The service has always been great for us. Their hummus is the best I've had anywhere, and the grilled shrimp appetizer is my favorite. I haven't had much in the way of... More

We spend a day in Denver about quarterly doing something cultural and trying new restaurants. Well, Damascus Restaurant was a wonderful find after a really good day. The owner greeted us in this clean, pleasant restaurant in a strip mall on South Colorado. In describing the menu, it became clear that this man, Yasser, loves to cook, something he learned... More

Had stopped at Damascus in Castle Rock before & maybe because it was new & crowded-decided to try again. This time service & food was quick in arrival, since having a short time to eat & run. Food was hot & cold like it suppose to be on the #1 veggie platter. Tried at store grand opening & everything was... More

Amazing middle eastern food. Had the mixed grill kabobs, whew, very good and great seasoning. Wife had a vegetarian mix, also perfectly cooked. Their hummus is the best I have ever had, and I have been eating hummus way before eating hummus was popular. I am not a fan of eggplant or eggplant variants but the tabbouli was good even... More

The falafel and baba ganoush are delicious! And the lamb kabobs, forget about it. You wont find this authentic and fresh of food any where else. The service is awesome and the staff is so helpful!

We were staying with friends in the neighborhood, and got a fantastic meal for takeout. The bread as others have noted is a standout. (We grilled the left-over bread the next morning and topped it with honey. Delish.) The flavors are incredible in the smoky baba ghanoush, and the rice was cooked just right. The salads were fresh and tasty,... More

We tried it again after a subpar experience about 18 months ago. Well there's a new sign: "under the new management". It turns out the new management was the old management prior to the previous management. I was grazing so had a lentil soup which was greenish/yellow and I must say it was excellent. Hot and tasty, a house specialty,... More

There are a lot of choices for Middle Eastern food in Denver but if quality is your judging criteria then Damascus is likely the best. Jerusalem a few blocks awa is the place for 2:00am pick me up after anight on the beer but for quality of food look no where else. Not as busy as in it's prime 20... More
