Was somewhat questioning our decision to eat there as we entered through what appeared to be the kitchen. Surprise! Absolutely great service and food. Prices very reasonable, especially for the Denver metro area. Definitely one of those treasures we all look for.

We ordered 3 meals for 3 of us and everything was perfect. We cleaned out the 30" dish. The service is slow, as there is one cook and one server (it was busy on a Friday). We got our food 45 min after we walked in. Would go back any time. Loved it.

Great food (ordered the combo 1 and beers), tremendous atmosphere. Touch of ancient history. Waiter was great. 4 of us shared with sour dough bread, 1st time Ethiopian, will go back

Very delicious food at a good price. Only two folks working on a Monday night so super slow but friendly service. Cash only. Good for a slow relaxing dinner.

It was an impressive experience. Spices are impressive. Staff is super friendly. Ambiance is not so good but this is not a place for fine dining.

As a person who knows east African food quite well, I was VERY happy to find the Ethiopian Restaurant. It is a small café (no credit cards) owned by a wonderful family. I took an African friend who had never had this food before and she loved it. I love this food and it was so good to have it... More

The food was absolutely delicious as was the coffee. They roasted the coffee right there and allowed us to smell it before brewing!

I've eaten at couple of the top rated Ethiopian restaurants in the US and this one rates above them for me. Very flavorful and appealing to the eye. The owner and his wife were very nice and the waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. You won't be disappointed.

Having lived a few years in Ethiopia, I can tell you that this is the real thing. Reminds me of restaurants in Addis Ababa, in kind of middle-class neighborhoods, the decor is, well, what it is like there. Nothing fancy. Best injera I have had in Denver. The doro wat is excellent as are the vegetarian wats. Friendly service from... More

I had my first ever Ethiopian food at this restaurant and became a regular customer over 25 years ago. 16+ years ago I moved to Scotland, and to my knowledge, there are no restaurants serving Ethiopian food here. Since Ethiopian food is my absolute favourite, this has been a bummer. Any time I go to any large, metropolitan city, I... More
