I wasn't sure what to expect when I made plans to try Luca. I was pleasantly surprised! I thought it would be a more upscale snooty type of restaurant, but there were families having dinner there. It's a small restaurant, only about 25 tables in total. It helps to keep the ambiance of being at a friends house for dinner.... More

Luca is a reliable go-to restuarant for an evening out. The food is very good and the selection is large enough to please most any palate. Watch the salads - they can be over-dressed. The small size pasta dishes are really for an appetizer or if one is not very hungry. The pasta is house-made and delicious. The wine list... More

Recommended by the concierge at our hotel, we found the food and service both very good. So many pasta options available, we settled on each of us ordering several small plates instead of just two entrees, and were glad we did. Started with Tri Colore Arugula, Radicchio, Frisée, Walnuts, Gorgonzola, Red Wine Vinaigrette salad which was very good, and Roasted... More

This restaurant offers a range of familiar Italian options, including many meat, fish, and vegetarian options. Most of the choices we made were good, although the 'lasagnetti with lobster' was so salty the flavours were ruined. A good range of Italian wines are available, although the prices are quite high. The ambience is lovely, though service was inattentive and somewhat... More

have a great time and a good feed. Luca is a "go to" for us, not always perfect but always worth coming back to. First the service is and was outstanding from Kathleen our Principal Server on the team to Jim our Sommelier. We started by splitting a Lobster Fra Diavilo which was liberally supplied with bite size chunks of... More

The dinner started off like a dud ! I ordered the Arancini. Horrible and dry. Tasted like southern hushpuppies !! Next two dishes were out of this world though. The squash ravioli with sage and brown butter were some of the best ever, really nice, but not on the menu all the time. Next was a duck dish that was... More

Every time we come here we are treated like royalty. The service is almost better than the food and the food is outstanding. When the wife and I really want a special night out, this is our go-to spot.

Dinner with 5 to celebrate a birthday. Accommodating, well informed staff, delicious warm rustic breads and olives as apps. Great wines from all over Italy, smart, helpful sommelier. We all ordered fresh pasta dishes. Appreciated the ability to order a smaller size entree portion of pasta since it is rich and very filling. The salads-Luca, Tri Colore and Arugula were... More

We went on the first night of restaurant week. Early evening on a busy Friday. Not impressed at all of the designated menu selections. There were four in our party and tried almost everything allowed between us. The brick oven chicken was acceptable, not the other entrees. The two desserts were both dry, and would have liked more than one... More

I was treated to a surprise dinner by my children honoring my recent retirement, and they chose Luca. I knew of the restaurant and its fine reputation but this was my first experience here. The entire evening was excellent. We hared a variety of salumi, cheeses for antipasti as well as an assortment of house made pastas. They have a... More
