We ate at Cunina Colore for Christmas eve dinner. The food was phenomenal, great atmosphere and our waiter was very personable and attentive. At one point there was a hiccup around a couple of the main course dishes were delayed (it happens), the waiter and manager were sincerely apologetic and made up for it with a few gratis offerings. We truly appreciated the care and ownership!

We chose Cucina Colore because we have enjoyed this restaurant for years. This night was different because it was a limited menu for a fixed price. I understand why they do this on a very busy occasion. It is so they can manage the food production for a large crowd. The experience was hectic and several times the servers brought us items we did not order. The food was good but not what we usually would have selected. Two of the courses had the same sides of arugula and risotto was repeated too. The lesson is to skip going out to eat on the holiday and celebrate the day before or after.

Three of us went for lunch, and sat on the beautiful patio. Two of us had the fried artichoke salad, and were very disappointed - the fried artichokes had no taste. We even tried dipping them into the tasty olive oil mixture that comes with the bread, but it didn't help. Our other friend had the quinoa salad and loved it, so I guess we just ordered the wrong thing. Lots of other selections on the menu. Service was great, as always.

First, our server was excellent and explained some items on the menu and made good recommendations. Atmosphere was nice too. The menu had varied choices and they were very different from most Italian restaurants. All our meals were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I received a gift card a few years ago for $130. I had moved out of the area and the pandemic interfered with traveling to the restaurant. Recently I found the card and decide to take a visiting friend for dinner after I picked him up at Denver's airport. I asked our server to check with the manager to be sure it was still valid. There was no expiration date on the card. The assistant ,manager came over and told us the current card reader could not read older cards. I asked what happens to the $130 my son-in-law spent on the card. He shrugged and said "sorry about that". I realize that it would be difficult to validate the card and amount but I believe good customer service would have found a way. I later asked our server if they would at least comp us dessert (note that I had to ask as nothing was offered) and she checked with the same manager who ok'd the comp. When I got the check, we had been comped my dessert but not my friend's. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We were in town for a business meeting and my manager is an Italian and loves good food. He arranged a group dinner for us and this place did not disappoint. There was a great selection of options and the service was fantastic. Can't wait to go back next time I am in Denver

I've been dining at Cucina Colore for more than fifteen years and my summer is not complete until I've enjoyed at least one lunch on the patio! My family of three dined here last Saturday and the delicious food remains! Great service as well!

Lukewarm prosecco and an argumentative waiter about white pizza (pizza bianca) because he doesn’t know what it is (I lived in Italy for many years), is enough reason not to come here.

This restaurant was where we celebrated our 9th anniversary. It was a Monday night and we had planned to be going somewhere else, but it was closed. Cucina Colore was open. Service was great...my husband had the pork chop which was delicious and the tomato bisque had bits of mozzarella sprinkled on top...so good. We will be back to see you to explore other things on the menu!!!

We picked this restaurant on the spur of the moment and we were not disappointed, the food was good and so was the service, nice atmosphere, got a table right away. Would highly recommend it and will most likely go back again when in Denver.

I was eating here last weekend and spent over $300 on dinner. I overheard the general manager say “I tipped like s**t” when the service was subpar that night after being a regular customer. I had to get my own Silverware & ask for water repeatedly here.
I am offended and don’t want to eat here anymore after great service usually. When I heard the GM say I “tipped like s**t”, I was extremely offended when the service was subpar.

My wife and I have traveled the world and dined at hundreds of restaurants. The very first impression in a restaurant is via the greeter. In this case, it was two young woman who seem to handle reservations/phones and seating. Neither smiled when we walked in or greeted us. They performed their duty of seating us with no warmth or ‘have a nice meal’. After seating us right next to the door to the kitchen, I went up to the greeters and nicely asked if we could be moved to another table. Apparently, this presented them with a terrible inconvenience. Again, no ‘sorry for seating you next to the ‘freeway’ into and out of the kitchen’ or ‘of course, we’d be happy to change your table’. Again, they performed their duty and seated us with no smile or warmth. I receive better treatment at Famous Dave’s BBQ!! Meanwhile, our server was excellent and our food was good. Excellent bread was served before our meal. The tomato basil soup was great. Word to the manager - either put some life into (and smiles on) your greeters or get greeters who wish to be there and do what they are supposed to do - greet the customers and make them feel their business is appreciated. Cherry Creek North has several other restaurant options

We went on a week night, and it wasn't crowded, except for a tequila tasting in the back, so the hostess kindly seated us toward the front, away from the group. I started with a margarita, but would pass on that the next time in favor of a glass of wine. I had mushroom ravioli, something I have never had before, and enjoyed it very much. An arugula salad - nicely dressed with shaved parm on top - was the perfect contrast to the cream sauce on the ravioli. My husband loves their ciopinno - flavorful sauce, lots of good fish and comes with garlic bread. A couple glasses of chianti, and you have a yummy Italian dinner!
John was our waiter and kept things moving, but not rushed.

I used to love going to Cucina Calore but last night was such a disappointment. The restaurant was relatively empty as it was a Monday night,and the manager was wonderful and helped get us started on our orders but then after he left and our waiter took over, the service was pretty awful, rushed and not attentive at all and the food came out very slowly and disjointed and the coffee wasn’t even hot. It was really an odd experience and my daughter’s birthday dinner experience was pretty much a huge bummer. They were almost 20 minutes after serving our coffee and no desserts we ordered anywhere in sight I had to get up and ask about them,(mind you it was her birthday and that was clearly communicated and she ordered cake), The food was also not very good my pasta tasted like warmed over and saucer was runny nothing like it was in the past . So after a few years of enjoying the place I will most likely not go back or recommend.
